Wing has acquired Airport City Logistics Park near Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport, comprising approx. 44,000 sqm of modern warehouse buildings and 8,000 sqm of office area. Through the transaction concluded with CPI Property Group, Wing further strengthens its position in the Budapest industrial and logistics market. The transaction was carried out at a record low, 5.6% yield. 

Living, an umbrella brand of Wing specialising in residential properties, has completed the first phase of its Park West project offering 229 apartments in District 13 of Budapest. About 700 apartments will be constructed in the residential development project to be carried out in three phases.

Wing’s residential development brand Living is launching the third, and final, phase of Kassák Terrace project, located in District 13 of Budapest. The residential project offers future homeowners community services and smart solutions. Kassák Terrace is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2025.

The former EuroCenter shopping centre, currently being rebuilt by Wing, will be renamed GOBUDA Mall after the renovation. The building will re-open in the spring of 2022 according to plans.

Wing has sold buildings B, C and I in the Infopark office park in Budapest. The properties were sold through the Gladiator V Real Estate Investment Fund, the buyer being SkyGreen Buildings Ltd. Wing intends to use the proceeds from the sale for the purposes set out in its business plan, namely to strengthen its position in the region.

Wing launched the development of Hall D3 in East Gate Business Park to respond to distinct market needs reflecting increasing demand and increasing interest in the park. The hall, with a total area of over 9,000 sqm nearly 20% of which is office space, has now reached a 100% occupancy rate. This speculative investment project caters to tenants with production, manufacturing and complex, special warehousing needs.

Wing and Accor have concluded a long-term agreement for a 12,000+ sqm area of the 42,000 sqm Liberty complex. As a result, the office building pursuing the BREEAM Excellent rating has added to its profile a dual-branded hotel under the Ibis and Tribe brands. The hotel part will be located in the landmark South wing and it is expected to be completed in 2023, which means this will be the first Tribe Hotel in Hungary.

Kassák Passage, the second phase of LIVING’s Kassák project, has reached its highest point. The project features 262 units and is located close to the Váci út office corridor. It is expected to be completed in the second half of 2022.

Infopark buildings B, C and I, all owned by Wing, received a BREEAM-In-Use Very Good sustainability certification. The certification was earned with energy and water-efficient management and operation, selective waste collection, and the features of the buildings that contribute to the well-being and health of those using them. Located at the Buda end of the Rákóczi bridge, Infopark is majority-owned by Wing – the company owns buildings B, C, D and I, with a total area of 100,000 sqm.

Wing held a successful bond auction, issuing green bonds totalling approximately €70 million (HUF 25 billion) through the Bonds for Growth Scheme (NKP) of the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB). In line with international standards and requirements, Wing will use the funds raised through the bonds solely for environmentally friendly projects and assets.
