Wing, through one of its investment funds, has acquired Infopark D office building in the South Buda area. The transaction was financed by HypoNoe Bank AG.

On May 29th, 2018, Budapest’s Ericsson House was officially handed over. This new building, developed by Wing, features not only offices but also one of the Swedish company’s largest European Research & Development centres. The 24,000 sqm property, built in the first phase of the development project of the Hungarian Nobel-Prize Winners’ R&D Park, satisfies both the needs of today and tomorrow due to its cutting-edge technology and execution. As shown by its LEED Gold certification it upholds the highest standards of environmental consciousness. The new HQ will house 1800 workers. Now, with the handover of the Ericsson House, the development of the adjacent site may commence as the second phase of the project.

Wing Zrt. will develop an international flight training centre fully tailored to Wizz Air’s needs in the scope of a one-of-a-kind project in close proximity to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. The facility will be the largest flight training centre in Hungary, and one of the most modern in the Central and Eastern European region. The 3800 square metre building will accommodate three flight deck simulators (two of them full-motion simulators) and a complete aircraft fuselage with passenger compartment (allowing the budget airline’s crew to run cabin crew training). After signing a long-term lease agreement, construction began in February. The building’s structure has been built, and delivery is scheduled for the end of the year. This is the second significant development project that Wing has undertaken in the vicinity of the airport in just a short time. The ibis Styles Budapest Airport – also developed by Wing – was inaugurated in January.

Hungarian investor and developer Wing has acquired two office buildings in Sofia, Bulgaria for a total of €9.85 million. The DXC Office Building has 8,000 sqm GLA, while the BULMAG Office Building offers 770 sqm of leasable space.

Wing Zrt. has acquired a retail portfolio which includes the EuroCenter Óbuda shopping centre as well as two properties in the regional city of Szombathely. The company has over ten years of experience developing and managing retail properties and plans to carry out value-enhancing investments across the new portfolio with a particular focus on the Buda shopping centre. Wing intends to invest in improving the shopping centre’s existing strengths for both shoppers and tenants.

The 145-room ibis Styles Budapest Airport Hotel, the first airport hotel in Hungary with a direct terminal connection, constructed in a development project by Wing, opened for business at the beginning of January. The 6,600 sqm hotel is located approximately 200 m from Terminal 2, and is connected to it by a covered walkway.

The development of Hungary’s largest office building to be constructed in a single block has reached an important milestone: the new Telekom Headquarters building is now structurally complete. Developer Wing Zrt, has customised the 100,000 sqm building fully in line with the specific needs of the Magyar Telekom Group.

Hungarian developer and investor Wing has purchased the Európa Center Business and Logistic Park, located in the northernmost part of Budapest, next to the M0 ring road. Wing plans to further develop the park which has been renamed Login Business Park.

An international investment consortium comprising Wing, Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing and CC Real has sold the West End Business Center office building in Budapest to OTP Property Investment Fund.

Eight months after earthworks began and the foundation stone was laid, all the floors of the first airport hotel in Hungary with direct terminal access have been constructed, and the highest point of the structure has been reached. During the traditional topping-out ceremony, the managers of developer Wing Zrt. and Budapest Airport announced that the hotel is due to receive the first guests at the end of this year, as planned.
