Hungarian property developer and investor Wing has completed a €37 million bond issue. With an aggregate principal amount of €37 million, the bonds have a maturity of 3 years and a fixed interest rate of 8.90 per cent. The company has accepted all offers received, intending to use the funds raised from the successful issue to pursue new investment opportunities and launch new real estate development projects.

While the prices of apartments have skyrocketed in recent years in Hungary, residential property in Budapest is still quite inexpensive according to a joint study made by local developer Wing and research centre Eltinga.

East Gate Pro Business Park, Wing’s latest industrial development project, has reached a new milestone with the delivery of hall A2 in phase two. An additional area of 9,100 sqm is available in the newly completed building for production, assembly, fulfilment and warehousing purposes.

A new hotel representing a special brand from Accor Group is to open at Ferenc Liszt International Airport, developed by Wing, in cooperation with Budapest Airport, the developer announced. The handover is expected in 2025.

The second phase of the Park West project has been delivered in Budapest. The Hungarian developer plans two more phases in this project.

The first phase of the Le Jardin residential park has secured a BREEAM 'Very Good' certification. This is the first such project to get this type of certification in Hungary.

Wing has published its second ESG report, providing information about its environmental, social, and governance efforts, as well as its goals, the measures it has taken and the results it has achieved in 2022. The report has been prepared in accordance with the company’s first comprehensive ESG strategy, which will be finalised soon.
