The WING Liget Center multi-building development will involve not only the reconstruction of two buildings listed as historic monuments – serving as the main offices for TV channel RTL – but a brand-new boutique office building named Liget Center Vitrum will also be completed in the autumn. Construction is proceeding on schedule, and the Vitrum building is now structurally complete. Vitrum is a nearly zero energy building and will offer a total of 2,200 square metres of leasable office space over six floors. The building will be handed over in its shell and core stage in autumn 2024.

Hungarian property developer and investor Wing has completed a €37 million bond issue. With an aggregate principal amount of €37 million, the bonds have a maturity of 3 years and a fixed interest rate of 8.90 per cent. The company has accepted all offers received, intending to use the funds raised from the successful issue to pursue new investment opportunities and launch new real estate development projects.

One of Accor’s fastest-growing hotel brands across Europe, Tribe, opened the doors of its first hotel in Budapest. Together with Ibis, the newly constructed dual-branded hotel is located in Liberty, Wing’s mixed-use project. Ibis & Tribe Budapest Stadium offers 332 hotel rooms, split evenly by the two brands, and a complex set up with various F&B outlets, as well as meeting and fitness facilities.

Compared to other cities, gross yields in Budapest, calculated from purchase prices and revenue from rent, are among the highest, which means the Hungarian capital is still a great destination for those investing in residential property. While the prices of apartments have skyrocketed in recent years in Hungary, residential property in Budapest is still quite inexpensive according to a joint study made by local developer Wing and research centre Eltinga.

East Gate Pro Business Park, Wing’s latest industrial development project, has reached a new milestone with the delivery of hall A2 in phase two. An additional area of 9,100 sqm is available in the newly completed building for production, assembly, fulfilment and warehousing purposes.

A new hotel representing a special brand from Accor Group is to open at Ferenc Liszt International Airport, developed by Wing, in cooperation with Budapest Airport, the developer announced. The handover is expected in 2025.
