Jakub heads the Real Estate team in the Czech Republic. He is an experienced transactional lawyer with a strong property background and a proven track record of property, financing and energy transactions. Jakub has worked on many high-profile transactions in the Czech Republic and CEE over a period of more than 20 years. He is also regularly in charge of real estate construction and development matters.
Fluent in Czech, English and German, Jakub advises both domestic and international clients in complex transactions in various industry sectors. Jakub is a member of ARTN (Czech Association for Development of the Real Estate Market) and of the Real Estate Committee of AmCham and regularly attends real estate-related conferences and seminars as a speaker or panel member. He is the author of numerous articles on real estate law and the chapter on the Czech Republic in a widely used publication about European real estate law.

Seweryna Afanasjew is Chair of the RICS Advisory Board in Poland and Member of the RICS Europe World Regional Board. She is also Head of Asset Management in Poland at GTC. Additionally, she is a member of IFMA Poland and the Polish Facility Management Council. A licensed real estate manager and broker, Seweryna has 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, including offices, shopping centres and warehouses. An expert in corporate real estate and strategic facilities management in large international organizations, Seweryna started her outstanding career in 1999 at Cushman & Wakefield, followed by over 7 years as Real Estate Management Head in Citi Group. Later, Seweryna served as Asset Management Head at several real estate funds and helped build the commercial real estate portfolio of Octava Property Trust while leading their asset management and leasing team. From 2017 Seweryna managed the strategic FM area at Liberty Global as CEE Real Estate Facilities Fleet & Energy Head with 1000 lease agreements and 300,000 sqm of leased space at her disposal. This experience contributed to Seweryna becoming the founder and co-owner of 4 FM, a proptech company, which specializes in creating platforms for strategic facilities management sourcing. Her current focus area is finding and implementing modern technological solutions for real estate to increase the efficiency of the whole organization, which perfectly fits into GTC’s strategy of developing futureproof sustainable properties with a focus on the wellbeing of its immediate communities.
Laurentiu Afrasine is the CEO of Akcent Development since February 2020, with a career in real estate that started within the retail industry and with over 10 years of experience in the legal sector. Laurentiu oversees all aspects of the company’s operations and team members, along with the financial and legal management. Laurentiu has successfully engaged in the financial management of the Akcent Development group while reimbursing the funding; he has also accelerated the process of completing the Cloud 9 residential project and has established an experienced sales team, guiding the clients in the process of finding premium apartments and penthouses, according to their particular needs and requirements. Akcent Development is one of the most dynamic residential developers in Bucharest, with 20 years of experience in the capital city’s real estate market and approximately 7,500 apartments in its portfolio, out of which over 3,000 apartments were finalised in the Cloud 9, 21 Residence or 20 Residence projects. Irina Albu, a real estate professional with over 12 years` experience, is Sales Manager at Cordia Romania, member of Futureal Group, one of the largest real estate developers in Central and Eastern Europe. Irina started her career in residential sales at Cordia in 2007, following five years of experience as Key Account Manager for Perfetti Van Melle, a manufacturer and distributor of sweets. Before rejoining the Cordia team in 2019, Irina successfully collaborated with Coldwell Banker Moșilor, a real estate consultancy company that later became SVN Romania. Irina coordinates the sales of Cordia`s projects in Romania.
