Wing has become the full owner of property management company Strabag Property and Facility Services Zrt. by indirectly acquiring an additional 51% share in the company. Following the change, the company will continue to operate under the name NEO Property Services Zrt. as of 29 April 2019. The acquisition was approved by the National Competition Authority. Wing is committed to further strengthening NEO Property Services Zrt. as a leader in property-related services segment.

Hungarian developer Wing has announced the launch of the Gizella Loft, a new office project at Siemensʼ Gizella út site acquired last year. The 8,500 sqm is set to offer modern, human-focused offices for potential tenants from the end of 2019.

Wing entrusted JLL and Cushman & Wakefield real estate agencies with the leasing activities of its 42,000 sqm Liberty office building. The building will be realised next to the new Telekom headquarters and its delivery is expected in 2021.

Hungarian developer Wing has announced the acquisition of several buildings in Budapest’s Infopark office complex. The seller was Lone Star Funds – Hudson Global Advisors.

Wing has sold the Angyal (Angel) office building, set adjacent to Boráros Square in Central Budapest, to French economy hotel chain B&B Hotels. The building will be converted to a hotel based on the two companies’ strategic agreement, and become B&B Hotels’ first hotel in Hungary, with Wing taking on development tasks. The first B&B Hotels location in Hungary set to open on 7,700 sqm.

Wing has acquired Siemens’ office complex on Gizella Road in Budapest. The complex offers a total GLA of 40,000 sqm in eight buildings, most of which is office space, in addition to areas with industrial and educations functions. The property also has the potential for further development.

Wing has begun preparations for the construction of another office building in one of Budapest’s most dynamically developing districts, right next to the recently inaugurated Telekom HQ. With a total floor space of 40,000 sqm, the Liberty Office Building will offer premium office and retail space. A distinctive feature and main appeal of the people-oriented building, constructed to BREEAM ‘Very Good’ certification requirements, is a plant-filled, two-storey high rooftop greenhouse spanning the wing along the boulevard and a skybar with a panoramic view to the Buda mountains.

MOM Park, a 50,000 sqm prime shopping mall and office property in Budapest was sold by a consortium of a fund managed by Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing, Hungarian developer and investor Wing and Austrian shopping centre specialist CC Real to OTP Real Estate Investment Fund. The mall had been acquired in 2015 by the consortium, and since then significant investments have been made in the building enhancing its value as a property and a business.

Wing, through one of its investment funds, has acquired Infopark D office building in the South Buda area. The transaction was financed by HypoNoe Bank AG.

On May 29th, 2018, Budapest’s Ericsson House was officially handed over. This new building, developed by Wing, features not only offices but also one of the Swedish company’s largest European Research & Development centres. The 24,000 sqm property, built in the first phase of the development project of the Hungarian Nobel-Prize Winners’ R&D Park, satisfies both the needs of today and tomorrow due to its cutting-edge technology and execution. As shown by its LEED Gold certification it upholds the highest standards of environmental consciousness. The new HQ will house 1800 workers. Now, with the handover of the Ericsson House, the development of the adjacent site may commence as the second phase of the project.
