Garbe secures €20 million loan from Raiffeisenbank

Garbe Industrial Real Estate announced a strategic collaboration with Raiffeisenbank on their 49-hectare site at GarbePark Ceske Budejovice. The first building has been handed over to the client Taconova and is only the start of the up to 80,000 sqm development potential in the first phase, with over 150,000 sqm to follow. Logicor launches construction of new park near Liberec

Logicor has started construction of its first regional logistics park in the Czech Republic. The site, located close to key road networks linking Prague and the city of Liberec, was a brownfield and is being redeveloped in two phases to create two modern warehouses, totalling 20,000 sqm, including 1,800 sqm of office space. One of the buildings will have a cross-dock facility.

Accolade announces entry to the Croatian market

CEE industrial investment volume falls by 45% in H1 2023

CEE's modern industrial and warehouse space exceeded 59 million sqm in H1 2023. In twelve months, over 7,6 million sqm was completed, expanding the market by 16%, and currently, an additional 5 million sqm is under construction. With a 19% share of the total size, the Czech Republic is the second largest market in the region, the first is Poland with 52%. Bratislava's tallest skyscraper secures approval

Eurovea Tower, the first skyscraper in Bratislava on the Danube embankment, has received usage approval. Construction of Slovakia’s tallest building was led by J&T Real Estate (JTRE) and completed less than four years after obtaining the building permit. Only apartment interiors and common areas need to be finished before properties are handed over in spring 2024, the developer announced.

Industrial parks should become a powerful driver of the economy and a driving force for the development of the Ukrainian industry and its inclusion in the European system. The state has created the prerequisites for this: in addition to tax incentives, the draft budget for 2024 provides UAH 1 billion (€26 million) for a program to support industrial parks. Latest news


New leases

  • MLP Group has bolstered the tenant mix at MLP Poznań West by welcoming Stockly, a 3D printing specialist. The company has leased 2,400 sqm of warehouse and office space, with operations already underway via early access. A full handover is expected in December 2026. Stockly was represented by Rock Estate during the transaction.
  • Echo Investment has signed a lease agreement with Auchan Polska for 1,200 sqm of retail space within Fuzja, a flagship multifunctional complex in Łódź. The retailer is scheduled to open the outlet during the summer of 2026.
  • Froo Romania, a subsidiary of the Żabka Group, has relocated its HQ to the Bucharest-based Hermes Business Campus. The retailer secured around 2,900 sqm of office space in a transaction facilitated by Colliers.

New appointments

  • Colliers has appointed Kata Mazsaroff, Tamás Beck, and Miklós Ecsődi as Equity Partners in Hungary, effective 30 April 2026. Mazsaroff, who joined in 2007, rises to Managing Partner after overseeing a 200 per cent revenue increase since her 2022 appointment as Managing Director. Beck, with Colliers since 1994, has led the Industrial & Logistics division since 2005, facilitating transactions covering 1.9 million sqm of built space and 9.8 million sqm of land. Ecsődi, Head of Occupier Services and Office Agency since joining in 2011, has secured over 450,000 sqm in leases valued above €600 million.
  • Aleksandra Walaszek and Tomasz Nowakowski have joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail Agency. Walaszek has more than 10 years of experience in the retail sector. Nowakowski is an expert with nearly 20 years of experience in strategic leasing and retail property transaction management.
  • iO Partners has appointed Constantin Banu as Business Development Director for its Industrial and Land segments. With over 25 years of experience in the Romanian real estate sector, Banu is widely credited with helping shape the local logistics market. In his new role, he will oversee expansion strategies for the two segments.
