Marek Blaha, Head of affordable housing developer Dostupné bydlení České spořitelny, talked to Property Forum about the necessity of expanding the overall availability of housing in the Czech Republic. According to him, one of the strategies to solve such a problem could lie in augmenting the proportion of rental housing and this could be supported by the cooperation of banks, municipalities and developers.

Logistics developer CTP has built a new coworking centre named "Clubco' in the IQ Ostrava complex on Náměstí Republiky where the company Tietoevry was previously located. The construction of a modern distribution centre by HAVI Group has begun. The new distribution centre in Velika Gorica will cover an area of 8,300 sqm. HAVI has entrusted the process of location selection and tendering the developer to CBRE. 

Following the extension of the Eurovea waterfront, JTRE presented its new project in Bratislava. The project called Downtown Yards will transform a former industrial site into a residential area. Sales and construction will start next year, and the project already has a building permit.

Penta Real Estate has begun construction works on a new office building in Bratislava‘s Chalupkova zone at the beginning of December, ASB reports.

The number of started dwellings was significantly behind even the pre-pandemic period, but the completion was higher. The pace of completion and the start of construction slowed year-on-year in up to 6 regions.

Panattoni has launched the construction of City Logistics Kraków III, the latest 25,000 sqm development on the city limits. Walraven, an international producer of installation fixings, is to occupy almost 4,500 sqm.

Panattoni has completed a logistics centre for DHL Parcel. The 32,000 sqm centre in Robakowo is going to be the developer’s third industrial development in Poland to be awarded a BREEAM certification rating of Outstanding.
