There will be lofts built on the premises of the former Svornost' letterpress factory on the corner of Račianska and Kominarska streets in Bratislava. The building is not listed, but it is still in good condition. In these weeks, reconstruction works are being started, which will turn it into a multifunctional project Lofty Kominárska, writes the web portal yimba.sk.

Brno-based Domoplan from the Fipox Group continues its expansion into Southern Europe. At the beginning of the year, it announced the construction of apartments worth hundreds of millions of crowns in Zagreb, Croatia, and now it is also entering the Serbian market. At the beginning of next year it will start construction in Belgrade, where it is planning a luxury residential project worth €20 million, reports e15.cz.

Penta Real Estate has acquired unused land in Florence from České dráhy for CZK 234 million (€9.565 million). A new district is to be built on the brownfield site near the main thoroughfare, which will seamlessly connect to two buildings near Masaryk railway station, newstream.cz reports.

Garbe Industrial Real Estate announced a strategic collaboration with Raiffeisenbank on their 49-hectare site at GarbePark Ceske Budejovice. The first building has been handed over to the client Taconova and is only the start of the up to 80,000 sqm development potential in the first phase, with over 150,000 sqm to follow. The strategic collaboration includes €20 million loan for Garbe development in Ceske Budejovice. 

Developer Immocap plans to bring six residential projects in the next ten years in the most lucrative districts of Bratislava - Old Town, New Town and Ružinov. In total, there will be 1,500 flats offering quality, design as well and energy-efficient and sustainable housing, Immocap announced. 

Logicor has started construction of its first regional logistics park in the Czech Republic. The site, located close to key road networks linking Prague and the city of Liberec, was a brownfield and is being redeveloped in two phases to create two modern warehouses, totalling 20,000 sqm, including 1,800 sqm of office space. One of the buildings will have a cross-dock facility.

Accolade Group continues its international expansion. The Group recently expanded its portfolio with Croatia, its seventh European country. North of the city of Zagreb, Accolade has obtained a building permit for its first industrial hall of approximately 50,000 sqm. In parallel with this project, the group is working on other sites in the Balkans.

CEE's modern industrial and warehouse space exceeded 59 million sqm in H1 2023. In twelve months, over 7,6 million sqm was completed, expanding the market by 16%, and currently, an additional 5 million sqm is under construction. With a 19% share of the total size, the Czech Republic is the second largest market in the region, the first is Poland with 52%. New warehouses could be built in the Košice region. Besico Real Estate is planning to build new warehouses in the industrial park Kechnec. The new complex should have an area of almost 100 thousand square meters. The company has not disclosed the amount of the investment, writes Trend.sk.

Eurovea Tower, the first skyscraper in Bratislava on the Danube embankment, has received usage approval. Construction of Slovakia’s tallest building was led by J&T Real Estate (JTRE) and completed less than four years after obtaining the building permit. Only apartment interiors and common areas need to be finished before properties are handed over in spring 2024, the developer announced.
