Accolade has expanded its management team with the addition of a new director responsible for the commercialisation of the entire group's portfolio. Joanna Sinkiewicz brings over 16 years of property industry experience and will be responsible for achieving the company's strategic goals.

Starting in January 2024, Martin Löcker (47) joins CA Immo as Group Head of Development, taking over responsibility for all development, construction, and engineering activities across the Group, including those of Matthias Schmidt who will leave the company at the end of 2023 and will pursue new professional opportunities.

The first residents will move into Creditas Real Estate's Nové Boroviny residence near Kladno (30 km north of Prague) in early 2024. In the first stage of the project, there are 161 flats with layouts from 1+kk to 4+kk, some of the flats have already been sold. 

Property developer Finep has sold a house with rental apartments in Prague 9 to Mint's residential fund. The former Veltex building in Poděbradská Street is expected to bring mainly small apartments to the rental housing market within about two years. According to the daily e15.cz, the transaction is worth almost CZK 1 billion (around €40 million). 

Czech developer Contera has opened Organica office building in Ostrava. The grand opening was attended by representatives of the main client, the Scandinavian company Tietoevry, as well as the Mayor of Ostrava and the Governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region. 

Roughly 280 apartments, but also new amenities. These are the two basic parameters of the R66 multifunctional complex from development company Corwin. The company has built and managed the Guthaus project in its neighbourhood on Račianska Street. Only a few tens of meters towards Rača, it also owns a large area of the former Palma factory, where a new local centre should be built.

Czechs will be forced to change their priorities regarding rental housing, as macroeconomic indicators and developments in Western European countries suggest, says in an interview for Property Forum Jiří Vajner, CEO of Creditas Real Estate, a company that wants to become a leader in the Czech rental real estate market. 

A brand-new company, Equs, entered the Czech industrial real estate development market. It was founded by Tomáš Míček, who has many years of experience in top management of industrial developers, and the Ungelt Group, an investor and real estate developer that has been operating on the Czech market for more than 30 years. 

UDI Group is finishing the first hall of its new Logistics Centre Přehýšov near the D5 motorway close to Plzeň. A total of three halls with a total area of 130,000 sqm will be built here. The developer plans to invest a total of CZK 3.2 billion (€130.5 million) here. 

Developer J&T Real Estate (JTRE) will soon start the construction of the Ganz House residential project as part of Bratislava's Eurovea mixed-use district.
