Romania’s modern industrial stock exceeded the 4 million sqm during the first semester of 2019, since a new supply of 240,000 sqm was brought on the market and by the end of 20202 approx. 1 million sqm are expected to be delivered, according to the latest research report by CBRE Romania.
Panattoni Europe embarks on the largest project in the Warsaw region. The new facility, A2 Warsaw Park, will total 102,500 sqm of space and will be located next to the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Junction and the A2 motorway. The first tenant has already been secured – Raben Logistics Polska, taking up 30 per cent of the space. Project completion is planned for Q1 of 2020.
During Q2 2019, gross take-up on the Czech industrial market, which includes renegotiations, reached 380,500 sqm showing an increase of 21% over the Q2 2018. The Industrial Research Forum announced the final industrial market figures for Q2 2019.
Panattoni Europe has completed the construction of another facility for Amazon with more than 60,000 sqm of space. The logistics centre in Bolesławiec in Lower Silesia will receive products from sellers and suppliers, and then distribute them to Amazon’s e-commerce centres. The project was built in line with the guidelines for BREEAM certification and is already the seventh joint project between the two companies – in the space of five years the developer has delivered 745,500 sqm to the world’s largest online store.
Czech investment group Accolade aims for the Slovak market. Investment in two logistic halls near Košice airport will open Accolade´s fourth market. Thanks to the strategic location, tenants will have good access not only to the east of Slovakia but also to Hungary, Poland, and Ukraine. The halls will cover the area of 36 000 sqm from the total disposable area of 75 000 sqm. The total value of the buildings is CZK 750 million.
In the first half of this year, MLP Group signed 22 lease contracts for a total of 217,000 sqm of warehouse space in Poland, Germany and Romania. This is more than double the previous year’s figure, of just over 100,000 sqm.
In Wrocław, Panattoni Europe has completed phase one of City Logistics Wrocław I, with 36,700 sqm built and fully leased, and as of August works are starting on phase two – to deliver an additional 25,000 sqm. The facility tailored to the needs of tenants seeking small units will be ready in Q1 2020.
The Lux Med Group will join the ranks of the Fabryczna Office Park complex being developed by the Inter-Bud Group as part of the Fabryczna City project - an omni-functional investment being built on Aleja Pokoju in Krakow. The lease agreement between Lux Med Group and Inter-Bud Group was signed for over 1.7 thousand sqm.
The group of tenants of Dekada Nysa (southwestern Poland) is expanding. Family Pets & Zoo will occupy a 258 sqm showroom, where it will offer a wide selection of food, supplements for dogs and cats, cosmetics, toys and many other pet products.
Flexion Mobile Plc's Hungarian branch has chosen traditional long-term office leasing over previously used serviced office rental and is moving to the ZenGarden office building in Budapest.
