CTP has signed a lease of nearly 10,000 sqm of warehouse space with Chorus Research Engineering Distribution at CTPark Bucharest North. Chorus, a Romanian provider of integrated electrical solutions for energy and automation technologies, serves customers across the renewable energy and industrial automation sectors.

Construction has been completed on REINO IO Piotrków BTS, a cross-dock transshipment centre of nearly 27,000 sqm in Piotrków Trybunalski, central Poland. The investor is Polish Logistics LLP (UK), managed by REINO IO Logistics. Kajima Poland handled design and general contracting under a design-and-build contract, with financing provided by BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A. under a Green Loan structure compliant with LMA Green Loan Principles.

Berner Polska Sp. z o.o. has signed a long-term lease for approximately 6,500 sqm of warehouse space at 7R Hub Nowa Huta, a logistics and technology park under development in Kraków. The company, a Polish subsidiary of the Berner Group, a family-owned B2B supplier of maintenance products operating in 21 European countries, plans to relocate its logistics operations from its existing distribution centre in Skawina to Building H1 at the new park in the fourth quarter of 2027. Building H1 will ultimately offer around 42,000 sqm of space. Cushman & Wakefield advised Berner Polska on the location selection.

Komplex Torus, a distributor of household chemicals, cosmetics and hygiene products, has leased nearly 6,800 sqm at MLP Pruszków II near Warsaw. Of the total area, approximately 6,500 sqm will be used for warehousing, with the remainder allocated to office and staff facilities. The completed unit is scheduled to be handed over in the fourth quarter of 2026. Newmark Polska represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Manufacturing is gaining ground in Romania's industrial and logistics market, with approximately 28% of publicly announced leasing transactions in the first half of 2026 involving manufacturing space, almost double the previous year's share and well above the typical 10-15% range, according to Colliers. Around two-thirds of demand came from new leases or relocations. Overall, publicly announced transactions reached approximately 340,000 sqm, around 20% below the level recorded in the first half of last year, but 47% above the average for the same period in 2017-2019.

Developer 7R is launching construction of 7R Park Szczecin South, a logistics and warehouse complex in the south-western part of Szczecin comprising two buildings with a combined area of approximately 29,000 sqm. The first and larger building, exceeding 23,000 sqm, has been fully pre-leased to Procent Poland, a logistics services provider for the e-commerce sector. The second building will offer around 5,000 sqm. Depenbrock Polska has been appointed general contractor, with construction due to start in August 2026 and completion expected in the third quarter of 2027.

Slovakia's industrial and logistics property market continued to grow in the second quarter of 2026, with total leasing activity reaching approximately 131,000 sqm, a 23% year-on-year increase, according to a quarterly analysis by CBRE Slovakia. Net leasing activity, which excludes renewals and short-term leases, also rose 13% year-on-year to approximately 67,000 sqm.

Danish audio and communications manufacturer GN Group is to become a tenant at Panattoni Business Park Kladno, an industrial zone developed on a brownfield site formerly occupied by the Poldi Kladno steelworks. GN will occupy more than 30,000 sqm in total, of which approximately 28,000 sqm will be operational space and 2,000 sqm will serve as office accommodation. The build-to-suit project is being developed by Panattoni and financed by investment group RSJ, with completion scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.

FORMADE, the owner of online interior design retailer Fabryka Form, has renewed its lease at the MLP Pruszków II logistics park for a further term. The company has been operating at the park since 2021. Advisory firm Triflow represented the tenant during the renegotiation process.

The Czech industrial and logistics real estate market remains stable despite global economic uncertainty, according to an analysis by Colliers. Total modern industrial and logistics space in the Czech Republic reached 13.7 million sqm in the second quarter of 2026, with gross take-up of approximately 460,000 sqm, close to the five-year average. The average vacancy rate rose gradually to 5.5%, while rents remained stable in most regions.
