7R has built a BTS format warehouse in Goleniów for FIEGE, a European logistics operator. From the end of March FIEGE runs in Goleniów an international distribution centre, on an area of nearly 62,500 sqm, for a well-known global e-commerce giant.

Panattoni is developing another complex in the Kraków region – Panattoni Park Kraków North, with an area of ​​55,000 sqm. The first tenant has already been secured for the park: Trivium Packaging – a global manufacturer of metal packaging, which will transfer its existing chemical packaging operations to its new ​​21,000 sqm premises at the beginning of 2023. Panattoni has now developed approaching 200,000 sqm of industrial space in the Kraków region.

There is currently over 46 million sqm of industrial space in the CEE region, of which one-fifth is in the Czech Republic and the largest part – more than a half – in Poland. There is more than 900 sqm of industrial space per thousand inhabitants in the country. Just 1.6% of the space in Czechia is currently vacant. A record-breaking 1,112,000 sqm is currently under development in the Czech Republic – the highest figure in history. Demand on the part of logistics, distribution and e-commerce companies is growing. Cushman & Wakefield has analysed the trends in the industrial property sector in five Central European countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia) in 2021.

Property developer P3 Logistics Parks has completed a new accommodation building spanning 2,000 sqm for the staff employed in the P3 Bucharest A1 logistics park near Bucharest. 

The record demand for warehouse space, reported last year, continues. There are no vacant warehouses, despite the fact that the largest amount of logistics space in the history of Polish market is currently under construction.

Romanian developer Element Industrial has inaugurated the first phase of ELI Park 3 industrial project in Buftea-Chitila area, near Bucharest. 

Panattoni is to increase the size of its portfolio in the Lubusz region. The developer is to begin work on Panattoni Park Gorzów II, which should eventually comprise 67,000 sqm in three buildings. The first is to have 36,500 sqm and is to be completed this year. On completion of the project the company's portfolio should comprise more than 700,000 sqm. 

GARBE Industrial Real Estate Czech Republic has commenced the development of 30,000 sqm at GARBE Park Chomutov. The structure will be built on the plot of a former construction company. GARBE demolished and revitalized the brownfield area and prepared it for the new construction of an industrial hall, which will be finished by the end of this year.

GLP has leased all the premises of the first phase of the newly built GLP Park Ostrava Hrušov complex. The first tenants include Prosperplast, Logflex and Hyundai Steel Czech. They are expected to move into the premises during the spring. The expensively revitalised site of the former chemical plant is thus coming to life and will gradually offer more than a hundred skilled jobs, says the company on their website.  

Panattoni has completed a production and business centre for Danfoss Poland. The 13,000 sqm complex of buildings together with its accompanying facilities was completed a year after the launch of construction work. Dekpol was the general contractor.
