Czech investment group RSJ and developer Panattoni have agreed on the construction of a new industrial park outside the city of Hradec Kralové. The 35,000 sqm warehouse will be located at one of the exits of the D11 motorway.

Romanian developer Global Vision will invest €70 million in Bucharest Airport Park near Otopeni Airport. The first development phase of the new logistics project will kick off this year and the first warehouse could have a leasable area up to 10,000 sqm, depending on demand, said Sorin Preda, Global Vision’s CEO, according to zf.ro.

Last year, Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych, supervised by Logicenters, signed lease agreements for nearly 15,000 sqm, which accounts for approx. 25% of the offered finished warehouse space. All facilities are almost fully leased. In order to extend the portfolio with new facilities, a new warehouse is currently under construction at BIK Park Wrocław, which will provide 22.5 thousand sqm of modern warehouse space. It is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of this year.

Panattoni has begun the construction of a 42,000 sqm logistics centre for Rohlig Suus Logistics at Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate I in Tarnowo Podgórne. At the same time, work has started on a speculative facility with an area of ​​18,000 sqm, which is intended for a variety of tenants. 

As of Q4 2021, over 1,100,000 sqm of Class A warehouse space was under construction on the Czech market, representing an increase of 23% compared to the previous quarter and ca. 240% increase compared to the same period last year. The Industrial Research Forum announced industrial market figures for Q4 2021.

EQT Exeter has appointed Savills as property manager for its very first investment in the Czech Republic. The portfolio of industrial assets comprises 140,000 sqm and is located close to Ostrava, Logistics Park Nošovice with effect from July 2021 and Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park in Mošnov with effect from December 2021.

Panattoni has started its third BTS project for French supermarket chain Carrefour. The investment, which has an area of ​​50,000 sqm, is under development in Będzin in Silesia. The height of the facility will reach as much as 13 m, while more than 13,000 sqm is to be used as a technologically-advanced cold store. The project is to be built to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification standards, while the developer will also create more than 5,000 sqm of green roofs.  

Panattoni is extending a production campus for K-Flex in Uniejów. After having developed almost 60,000 sqm in four buildings, the developer is now to deliver a further 6,500 sqm. The leading producer of thermal and acoustic insulation materials will already be using a 15 m high storage facility in March 2022. This will allow K-Flex to service the growing needs of its construction clients from Europe, Asia and the USA. Both companies are now planning further stages to the extension of the complex in Uniejów.

CTP’s portfolio of industrial and logistics spaces in Romania reached 2.1 million sqm in January 2022, with representatives of the company suggesting that the country can become a logistics hub for the region. 

CTP has added 69,000 sqm of buildings and development land to its CTPark Brno Líšeň in the Czech Republic through a sale-and-leaseback transaction with Zetor Tractors, the Czech agricultural machinery producer. The acquisition marks a major step in the overall €125 million transformation of the former Zetor brownfield industrial site into a modern new park for light manufacturing, retail, research and inner-city logistics which CTP embarked on in 2019. The transaction sees CTP consolidating its ownership in the Líšeň district, increasing the total land size to 29 hectares. Upon completion, CTPark Brno Líšeň will provide some 150,000 sqm of lettable area with over 2,500 jobs.
