GLP has launched the development of two new warehousing projects in Poland: the third phase of construction at Poznań Airport Logistics Centre and the first building of Warsaw V Logistics Centre.

Property developer Speedwell has leased 630 sqm in its own Miro office building, which it developed in northern Bucharest. 

Property investor Globalworth has purchased a small business units logistics project previously developed by CATTED in Chitila, near Bucharest. Furthermore, the two companies will acquire a land plot of around 45,000 sqm in Ștefănești for a new logistics investment.

Retail investor EPP has recently delisted from the Johannesburg and Luxembourg stock exchanges and announced the sale of certain assets. Space Brokers, a Czech real estate consultancy focused on commercial real estate, is expanding its team with 2 senior consultants for Slovakia after the first year. Martin Varačka and Martin Šafárik are responsible for commercial property leasing in Slovakia now. At the same time, Lucia Voslářová joins Space Brokers as a Marketing Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the company announced.

Accolade expands in Bydgoszcz, ultimately investing over €200 million in four modern warehouse parks, with a total area of over 240,000 sqm. At the same time, the investor is launching a new, €40 million project in nearby Piła. 

Duna House has released its monthly Transaction Estimate, showing that there were 14,548 residential property transactions in Hungary in March 2022. This is the fourth-highest monthly value of the past decade. 

Within a month, BSH, the largest producer of home appliances in Europe, will be using over 12,000 sqm within Panattoni Park Business Center Łódź III. The building will be used for storing tumble dryer components. This far Panattoni has delivered three developments with a combined area of around 150,000 sqm for BSH. Moreover, as part of the CEL Hub, the developer has delivered Appliance Park for component suppliers that serve the BSH factory. 

Arrow Capital Partners, the specialist investor, developer and manager of real estate in Europe and Asia-Pacific, has acquired the Ożarów Logistics Centre in Poland from CBRE Investment Management for its Strategic Industrial Real Estate (SIRE) joint venture with Cerberus. The price has not been disclosed. Burlington Real Estate acted for Arrow.

H2 2021 saw the highest number of newly commenced apartment constructions in Prague since 2008. The total number of apartments under construction rose to 12,630 units at the end of H2 2021. At the same time, the number of new apartments delivered was the weakest annual result since 2011 as only 3,700 apartments were completed. Still, the interest in buying flats was record-breaking, the best since 2016 and 22% above the 5-year average, says JLL in its Prague residential market report.
