Gdynia plans for another 20,000 inhabitants

The authorities of Gdynia state that the maximum amount of useable residential floor space that the city needs by 2045 could be as high as 11.29 million sqm. With this much space around 266,000 people could live in the city – currently, there are around 246,000. For the city's further development both public and private investment is needed.   • Jewellery brand Pandora is relocating its offices to Business Garden Bucharest, owned by Vastint Romania. The lease transaction was facilitated by CBRE Romania.
  • Treevi Pizza Al Taglio is expanding, through a franchise, to Timișoara with its first location in Iulius Town Mall. Already present in Bucharest, Cluj, Constanța, and Iași, Treevi Pizza Al Taglio, owned by Tomcat Hospitality, now features over 40 locations nationwide.
  • aSpace is opening a new location, spanning nearly 1,000 sqm, in the Victoriei 222 building in Bucharest, thereby becoming the first coworking destination on Calea Victoriei.

New appointments

  • Ewa Nowak, a commercial property valuer, has joined the Valuation Department of international real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska as Senior Associate.
  • Maciej Wieczorkiewicz is joining the Avison Young Technical Advisory team in Poland. Maciej is an experienced engineer with many years of experience in managing fit-out projects and investments in the commercial property sector. During his career development, he has worked for companies such as Made In Terior, TECAS Fitout and Colliers Define.
  • Tomáš Fabian has taken on the responsibility of leading the Czech commercial development team at Skanska as Executive Vice President Operations Czech Republic, while still keeping the current responsibilities as Executive Vice President Legal Counsel (CEE).
