Panattoni has begun the construction of a 42,000 sqm logistics centre for Rohlig Suus Logistics at Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate I in Tarnowo Podgórne. At the same time, work has started on a speculative facility with an area of ​​18,000 sqm, which is intended for a variety of tenants. 

According to “Office Occupier: Office Market in Warsaw, Q1-Q4 2021”, a report published by Newmark Polska, despite many challenges that the office market faced in 2021, the closing months of the year brought the long-awaited stabilization. Occupier activity in the fourth quarter bounced back to pre-pandemic levels and the city’s vacancy rate remained high, albeit relatively stable. Meanwhile, developers were slowly restarting planned projects.

The Executive Board, Supervisory Board and Works Council of Immofinanz issued statements in which they indicate that the offer price of €21.20 per share is viewed as not attractive and recommend that investors not accept the offer by CPIPG for Immofinanz’s shares and convertible bonds.

Tatra Asset Management has acquired the Hexagon retail park in Žarnovice, Central Slovakia from Hexagon Retail s.r.o. The new owner of the Hexagon retail park with an area of 3,600 sqm is a real estate fund managed by Tatra Asset Management, which with this acquisition has expanded its portfolio to 11 retail parks operated under the Lipa Park brand.

The Polish Chamber of Commercial Real Estate (PINK) has published figures summarizing office markets in eight major regional markets in Poland (Kraków, Wrocław, the Tri-City, Katowice, Poznań, Łódź, Lublin, Szczecin) for Q4 2021. The data is sourced from advisory companies from the commercial real estate sector (BNP Paribas Real Estate, CBRE, Colliers, Cushman&Wakefield, JLL, Knight Frank, Newmark, Savills) and includes information on existing modern office stock, new completions, take-up volumes and vacancy rates.

Despite the pandemic triumph of e-commerce, customers are not giving up on shopping in brick-and-mortar shops. Brands wanting to benefit from the synergy of these channels implement innovative formats and compete for customers' attention with technology and environmentally friendly products. However, retail parks and convenience centres continue to enjoy popularity among investors and developers, says JLL.

7R, the Polish developer of warehouse and production facilities, delivered nearly 400,000 sqm of BREEAM-certified space in 2021, doubling the company’s annual result y-o-y. In the last 12 months, 7R has divested 17 projects to investment funds and real estate companies for a total of nearly €400 million. The amount of space the tenants occupy has also increased, totaling 500,000 sqm. The portfolio of properties managed by 7R now exceeds one million sqm.

Individual investors subscribed to all K-series bonds offered by Echo Investment. The developer will issue securities with a total nominal value of PLN 50 million.

As of Q4 2021, over 1,100,000 sqm of Class A warehouse space was under construction on the Czech market, representing an increase of 23% compared to the previous quarter and ca. 240% increase compared to the same period last year.
