Panattoni has begun construction of a BTS centre for Solaris Bus & Coach. It is to be a warehouse with an area of over 10,000 sqm in Bolechowo near Poznań – just 150 m from the company’s current factory. The buildings will be connected by road and will share utilities. The Solaris BTS centre is to be completed at the end of the first quarter or the beginning of the second quarter of 2022. 

European Logistics Investment (ELI) has commenced constructing a logistics centre in Błonie near Warsaw. The Park Warsaw West X project by ELI and its partner Panattoni is planned as a multi-let facility offering nearly 49,000 sqm of modern warehouse space. The investment is planned to be delivered in Q2 2022.

The current level of buying activity on the warehouse market shows that lands for warehouse and industrial projects remain in high demand. It is being driven by several overlapping phenomena originating in a range of market sectors. What plots are attracting the strongest investor interest? What regions are being targeted and why? The international consulting company Cushman & Wakefield has summed up the third quarter of 2021 for the commercial real estate market in the CEE region. The investment volume at the end of the third quarter of the year amounts to €6.7 billion and is nearly 13% lower than for the same period in 2020.

Panattoni has sold two logistics facilities in western Poland for an undisclosed sum to the Hansa Europe Logistic Fund (HELF), which is managed by German real estate investor Hansainvest Real Assets. 

Panattoni is completing another development for the automotive industry in Bielsko-Biała. As part of Panattoni Park Bielsko-Biała IV, the developer is to deliver a BTS production centre with an area of 33,200 sqm to the Italian-based Cornaglia Group – a producer of components for the automotive industry, as well as construction and farm equipment and other machinery. The building is to be completed in January 2022.

The Polish warehouse market is experiencing an unprecedented boom. In the first half of 2021, the take-up of logistics space in Poland exceeded 3 million square meters for the first time in history and was higher than in the United Kingdom, France or Spain.

Panattoni has unveiled its latest location in Lower Silesia – by starting work on the construction of Panattoni Park Głogów, which will ultimately cover more than 20 ha with 111,000 sqm of built-up space. The project, which is to be BREEAM certified at the ‘Excellent’ level, has been designed to allow tenants to significantly reduce their CO2 emissions and energy consumption. The first tenant of the park is to be international logistics operator FM Logistic, which will occupy almost 35,000 sqm and is going to start operations in May 2022. 

Pan-European logistics platform Crossbay has purchased 100,000 sqm of warehouse space in two sites in Warsaw and Łódź. Both sites were acquired from Panattoni Europe, a developer of logistics and industrial space, for an undisclosed sum

Panattoni has been awarded a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’ for the second time. A recently completed BTS development in Świebodzin with an area of 200,000 sqm has successfully undergone environmental certification. In three categories, the project achieved a rating of 'Outstanding'. Among other things, the developer conducted a thorough life-cycle cost (LCC) analysis that covered a 60-year period and installed 3,873 solar panels as well as an intelligent building management system (BMS) and water-saving systems cutting usage by almost 55%. The building has four levels where 30 million separate goods can be stored and is served by 3,000 transport robots.
