Panattoni has become the first developer in the sector to introduce BREEAM certification at the ‘Excellent’ level as the standard for all its new facilities. To date, Panattoni has built 5,7 million sqm of space that has qualified for green certificates and tops the rankings for sustainable industrial construction. This includes the first BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certificate in the Polish industrial sector – for Panattoni Park Sosnowiec I – to add to having developed the most sustainable industrial building in Europe: Panattoni Park Cheb in the Czech Republic, which has an ‘Outstanding’ rating.

Martes Sport, a chain of large-format sports stores which was founded in Bielsko-Biała, is expanding its warehouse facilities with a lease agreement for space in Czechowice-Dziedzice, Poland. Due to development of its operations, especially in e-commerce, the company will occupy more than 21,000 sqm of warehouse space, as well as an office of approximately 1,000 sqm in 7R BTS Beskid III. The company’s new location will be operational in the second half of 2022.

MLP Group, a developer operating on the warehouse property market in Poland, Germany, Austria and Romania, has added a further 10 ha to the land bank of its MLP Poznań West project. The target project area has thus increased to about 150,000 sqm, making it one of the region’s largest logistic sites.

MDC², a warehouse and industrial developer operating on the Polish market, has secured a new development which will accommodate a distribution centre located in Central Poland near Łódź. MDC2 Park Łódź South is strategically located in Głuchów, south of Łódź, at the junction of A1 motorway and the National Roads no. 91 and 12. MDC2 Park Łódź South will add 65,000 sqm of modern/environmentally sustainable logistics space which completion is planned for Q3 2022.

Frontier Park Wrocław is a warehouse park, ultimately covering approx. 9,300 sqm of flexible warehouse and production space with adjacent office parts. Twelve Small Business Units with an area of 300 sqm are currently under construction on a 2-hectare plot in Bielany Wrocławskie.

Panattoni has completed a factory in Kalisz for Leviat – a global specialist in innovative solutions for the construction sector. The 40,000-square-metre investment replaces the company’s existing plant in the central Poland city. As a result, it will increase its production capacity and will be able expand its activities.

P3 is to develop an 82,500 sqm facility with an additional 27,000 sqm expansion option for furniture e-commerce specialist Westwing in P3 Poznań.

According to advisory firm AXI IMMO, Poland remains one of the most attractively priced markets in Europe. Three out of five cheapest locations in terms of prime big box rents are in Poland. In addition, three Polish markets make the top 5 list of most attractively priced land markets in Europe.
