RSBC Development Financing in cooperation with Masák & Partner plans to start a new residential development in the former ČKD factory in Prague Vysočany later this year. The original industrial building should be converted into 215 atypical two-floor apartments, i.e. lofts, within two years for CZK 2 billion (€81.6 million), writes E15.cz.
Several big new hotels are to be open in Prague in the next few years. Most of them will be operated by multinational chains and most of them will be the reconstructions of historical sites, except only two new of them that are planned by Penta Investments. For one of them, Penta obtained a €38.5 million loan from the Komerční banka, writes E15.cz.
A neglected plot of land in Prague 5 has now been newly acquired for billions of crowns by Austrian developer UBM. It plans to build 150 flats there. It wants to start building next year, but the project is still in the planning process. The developer has not disclosed the purchase price, the seller or the details of the construction, writes E15.cz.
Since August, UBM Development Czechia has been building and now selling the second phase of its residential project Arcus City in Prague-Reporyje. Within this phase, 63 apartments and several commercial units will be built. The completion of this phase is scheduled for the end of 2024. In total, over 270 apartments, 10 family houses and several commercial units will be built in the project in three phases.
The developer Sekyra Group must pay the city of Prague more than half a billion crowns (€22 million) for the construction of public spaces in its new residential project on Prague's Rohanský island, according to new rules for private investors. This is the highest contribution a developer has ever had to pay to the capital so far, Seznamzpravy.cz reports.

Gemini Park Tarnów will see the debut of the first Unisono shop in eastern Małopolska. The new tenant will occupy a 152 sqm unit. The store will open later this year.
The Gemini Park Tychy shopping centre is extending cooperation with its long-standing partner, the Silesia Jeans brand. The multibrand, which offers brands such as Levi's, Mustang, Lee and Wrangler, will soon open its second shop in the Tychy mall.
