Forum Karlín in Prague is for sale, reports Hospodářské noviny. Along with it, the Keystone office building in Karlín, the three-star Ibis hotel on Na Poříčí Street next to the Palladium shopping centre, and the smaller Polygon House office building in Pankrác are also on offer.
The buildings are owned by the Komerční banka real estate fund, which will pay investors from the money raised. The first round of the sales process will end in less than a month, and so far, it seems that the majority of applicants are from the Czech Republic.
The fund acquired Forum Karlín at the end of 2018 for €52 million. Its price has increased since then, according to HN.
The newspaper mentions that it is possible that the properties will not be sold as a package to one interested party, but individually. Among the interested parties, there could be the investment company Wood & Company or the PPF financial group. Developers Serge Borenstein and Jan Ludvík, who previously owned the building block and now have offices in Keystone, could also be interested. Neither party wanted to comment on the matter.
