The Prague district of Brumlovka, which Passerinvest Group has been building in Prague 4 for almost 30 years, has received the highest level of Fitwel certification this year.

Although the Fitwel certification system is now a recognised standard in more than 60 countries around the world, Brumlovka became the first project in continental Europe to achieve this assessment for the whole location.

"We appreciate the award of Fitwel certification. Our company documented the results of 68 parameters and submitted 246 documents to obtain it. We have been going through the certification process since 2021,” says Petr Bečán, Property Manager & ESG at Passerinvest Group, a.s.

Fitwel is a certification based on more than 7,000 academic studies with the aim of supporting the mental and physical well-being of direct users of Brumlovka, and the entire community. Fitwel certification was created by the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the US General Services Administration, which are US government organisations, with the CDC remaining a partner for Fitwel research and evaluation.

Fitwel certification is valid for three years and obliges its holders to maintain and further improve the achieved standards. After three years, it is then possible to apply for recertification.
