European Green Logistics Space (EGLS), the new investment and development company headed by logistics real estate veteran Ian Worboys, has hired Marta Gorońska-Wiercioch to lead its activity in Poland.

Martley Capital has completed the sale of Mazovia Plaza, an office building located in the Praga Północ district of Warsaw. The buyer and the price have not been revealed.

Focus Estate Fund has acquired three shopping centers in Poland. The assets' total Gross Leasable Area (GLA) is approximately 46,000 sqm. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed. 

Shares in real estate company GTC were down 8% to PLN 3.99 on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since March 19, while the yield on its euro-denominated bond rose to 13% following financial issues related to its parent company, Optima Befektetesi Zrt.

Construction labour cost and availability have become the primary concerns for real estate developers in Central Europe, according to a new survey by Deloitte. This shift sees it surpassing project financing, which has been the dominant issue in recent years.   

Panattoni is expanding its cooperation with LPP Logistics. The logistics operator from the LPP Group – the largest fashion company in the CEE region – has leased over 18,000 sqm at Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz II.

Office buildings with coworking and serviced offices are more likely to attract tenants. Flexible workspaces are used by corporations, small companies, and start-ups alike, according to Newmark Poland. 

The CEE Student Housing Fund of 1 Asset Management has secured a project finance loan of over PLN 150 million from mBank S.A. The financing will support the transformation of 21,000 sqm within the A-class Lipowy Office Park, located in Warsaw’s Ochota district, into coliving spaces tailored for young professionals and students.

Greenstone, a private equity fund, has finalized the acquisition of the remaining 20% stake in the Format office building from Torus, becoming the sole owner of the property. This follows Greenstone's initial purchase of an 80% stake in Format in May 2024. Just like in the first transaction, the seller was supported in this process by Cushman & Wakefield. The value of the deal has not been disclosed. 

Panattoni has finalized the sale of Panattoni Park Tricity South II to Clarion Partners Europe – a company specialising in the investment and management of logistics and industrial properties - for €59 million.
