Patrizia has appointed JLL as the commercialization agent for its office portfolio in Poland, consisting of eight buildings with space totaling approx. 65,000 sqm. JLL acts as a partner of MVGM, the new property manager of Patrizia’s portfolio.

The authorities of Gdynia state that the maximum amount of useable residential floor space that the city needs by 2045 could be as high as 11.29 million sqm. With this much space around 266,000 people could live in the city – currently, there are around 246,000. For the city's further development both public and private investment is needed. The restrictions imposed because of the pandemic have harmed both sectors. The city of Gdynia has announced that most of the planned investments will be completed, some will be delayed, and others are to be developed as PPP projects.

Savills has been instructed as sole letting agent for office and retail space in the Wratislavia Center in Wrocław, managed by the Austrian investor FLE GmbH.

MAN Truck & Bus Center, located in Małopole near Warsaw, has been sold by 7R to Interpierre Europe Centrale fund, managed by PAREF Gestion, part of PAREF Group, a global investment and asset management company. The Kellogg Company, a producer of ready-to-eat cereals and snacks, has renegotiated its existing lease agreement and expanded its warehouse footprint in Kutno to 28,000 sqm. The tenant was represented by Cresa. The developer of the facility is Panattoni, which specializes in BTS projects.

Vastint Poland has signed a contract with Budimex SA for general contracting services for the initial part of the second phase of the Waterfront complex in Gdynia. The planned investment will be built on Hryniewickiego Street, in the vicinity of Kościuszko Square, and will comprise the construction of four buildings totalling ​​45,000 sqm including underground garages. The general contractor plans to start construction in May of this year, with the investment scheduled for completion in 2023.

Globalworth has released its Annual Report and Audited Consolidated Financial Results for the year ended 31 December 2020. The company’s approach to the COVID-19 business recovery process has resulted in balanced growth, with a net operating income increased by 6.5% to €157.3 million and a total combined portfolio value that remained effectively unchanged at €3.0 billion.

At the end of 2020, there was more than 39 million sqm of modern logistic industrial space in the region. More than one half (53%) of this stock is in Poland, while the Czech Republic with more than 9 million sqm accounts for about 23% of the Central European market.
