Czech developer UDI Group has completed the structural phase of four residential projects across three countries: the first phase of Urban Park Brno in the Czech Republic, Parkside in Budapest, and Lastavice West and Zvezdano Brdo in Belgrade. All four projects are progressing on schedule towards handover to future residents.
"Completing the structural phase on four projects in three countries simultaneously confirms the strength of our portfolio and our ability to manage large-scale development projects across different markets. Thanks to long-term planning, thorough preparation and cooperation with our banking partners, we continue to deliver our projects according to plan," said Pavel Šemík, Group Treasury Director at UDI Group.
The Urban Park project in the Husovice district of Brno is redeveloping a former industrial site into a mixed-use neighbourhood with housing, shops and services. The first phase, comprising 236 apartments, is due for completion in 2027, with the full development eventually offering more than 1,000 apartments. Total investment in the project reaches nearly 4.5 billion Czech crowns. In Budapest's 13th district, adjacent to Vizafogó park, the Parkside project will combine 324 apartments, a 152-room hotel and commercial space, with completion scheduled for 2028 and a total investment of nearly 3 billion Czech crowns.
In Belgrade, the Lastavice project consists of two mixed-use buildings totalling 492 apartments with ground-floor commercial space, delivered in two phases, at a total investment of 2.2 billion Czech crowns. The Zvezdano Brdo complex, also in Belgrade, is divided into four sections and will offer 341 apartments ranging from studios to four-room units, with a total investment of 1.4 billion Czech crowns.
Beyond these four milestones, UDI Group is continuing preparation of further phases of key projects and is in discussions with banking partners on financing for several upcoming residential developments in the Czech Republic and abroad. The group currently operates in the Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia, Hungary, Panama and Costa Rica, with nearly 8,000 apartments in construction or preparation and total development costs of nearly 42 billion Czech crowns. In Warsaw, the third phase of the Ursus Classic project will deliver a further 561 apartments on the site of a former tractor factory.
