Panattoni builds 45,000 sqm logistics centre in Radom

Panattoni is opening up another market - this time the developer has chosen Radom, the largest city in Mazowsze following Warsaw. The Panattoni Park Radom distribution centre, which will have an area of 44,200 sqm at full build-out, is being constructed 10 minutes from the S7 and 10 km from Warsaw-Radom airport. The first two buildings with a combined area of 13,500 sqm are to be completed at the end of 2022/beginning of 2023 and they already have tenants from the logistics and grocery sectors.

P3 starts work on last building at P3 Poznań

P3 Logistic Parks has started construction of the final warehouse - comprising 77,630 sqm - at its Poznań park, located in a convenient location between Berlin in Germany, and Warsaw in Poland. Panattoni extends over 16,000 sqm for Hellmann in Wrocław

Panattoni is extending Panattoni Park Wrocław West Gate. The building now under construction is to be occupied by international logistics operator Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska sp. z o.o. sp.k., which is to take up 16,200 sqm within the next few months. After the expansion, the park will have an area of around 46,900 sqm and Panattoni will come close to having developed 2 mln sqm in the Wrocław region.

Cavatina Group plans international expansion

Cavatina Group starts Cavatina International and plans to expand its portfolio of the living sector’s projects not only in Poland but also in foreign markets. Jason Drennan, a manager with more than 20 years of investment experience in Europe and the US, and more than 15 years connected with the real estate market will be responsible for the new platform development. First, together with leading international institutional investors, the company intends to expand its current portfolio of apartments for rent created under the Resi Capital brand from 2,000 to 10,000 units, focusing on environmentally certified projects.

New leases

  • Court One has signed a lease for approximately 6,300 sqm of space at MLP Business Park Vienna. The tenant, a subsidiary of the Padeldome group, is currently Austria’s largest operator in the sector, managing 42 courts across four locations in the capital.
  • Polish fashion and lifestyle brand Medicine has accelerated its domestic expansion, headlined by the opening of its largest store to date, a 985 sqm flagship at the Silesia City Center in Katowice. This strategic scale-up is mirrored by simultaneous growth in several regional markets, including a new 740 sqm unit at Magnolia Park in Wroclaw and a 600 sqm extension at Galeria Warmińska in Olsztyn. The retailer further bolstered its Silesian presence with a 500 sqm location at Pogoria Shopping Centre and a new opening at CH Platan, significantly increasing its total floor space across Poland.
  • IAG GBS Poland, the shared services arm of the International Airlines Group (IAG), has finalised a lease renewal for 2,246 sqm of office space within the O3 Business Campus in Krakow. The decision to remain in the current location followed a comprehensive market analysis and workplace audit conducted by Savills.

New appointments

  • Avison Young has promoted Bartłomiej Krzyżak and Marcin Purgal to the roles of Co-Heads of the Investment Department in Poland. Krzyżak, previously Senior Director, brings 18 years of commercial real estate experience, having joined Avison Young in 2017. Purgal, also a former Senior Director and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), transitions into the co-head role with 23 years of experience in the CEE commercial markets.
  • Avison Young has strengthened its Polish leadership with three senior promotions. Patryk Błach ascends to Associate Director within the Investment Advisory Department. Kamil Głowienka has been named Senior Project Manager. Furthermore, Katarzyna Uzar becomes a Valuation and Innovation Specialist, tasked with integrating technological solutions and coordinating global departmental projects.
  • Katarzyna Myjak has joined Axi Immo as Senior Business Advisory Manager, tasked with strengthening the company’s Industrial & Logistics business line.
