Warimpex, a real estate development and investment company based in Vienna, has appointed Savills as the exclusive leasing adviser for office space in its new office complex located in Białystok at the junction of Bohaterów Monte Cassino and Wyszyńskiego streets. The phased project is expected to break ground this year.

Real estate advisory firm Savills anticipates that some of the immediate knock-on effects of the war in Ukraine on the Polish logistics market will include sustained demand for new warehouse projects amid construction difficulties and a prospect of rental growth in ready-to-occupy facilities.

The influx of refugees has resulted in further demand on Poland’s already fast-paced residential market. At the same time, fears over a prolonged or escalated crisis might decrease investment activity in the short run. Bartłomiej Annusewicz, CEO of luxury residential real estate agency Lions Estate talked to Property Forum about the trends driving various segments of the market.

HB Reavis has just obtained the occupancy permit for Forest tower, one of its flagship investments that is almost fully leased. With fit-out works now in progress in the 55,000 sqm Tower, the campus offers its full complement of 78,000 sqm GLA.

Panattoni has just completed its fifth project for K-Flex in Uniejów in central Poland. In March, the developer also signed a new contract for the development of an extension of K-Flex’s production campus. This will be its sixth building and is to have an area of 33,000 sqm. The total area of K-Flex’s facilities in Uniejów will thus reach 100,000 sqm. This will allow the company, a leading producer of thermal and acoustic insulation materials, to service the growing needs of its construction clients in Europe, Asia and the USA.

The year 2021 was a breakthrough for the Capital Park Group. The company completed the revitalisation of its flagship investment project, the Norblin Factory in Warsaw’s Wola district. The Capital Park Group generated a consolidated net profit of PLN 245.6 million. The Group decided to publish its first sustainable development report.

Three new tenants have leased space in Panattoni Park Toruń II: global logistics operators Dachser and Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska as well as a wholesale distributor of FMCG products. The companies will be moving into the complex in Q3 this year. Panattoni has now delivered more than 300,000 sqm in the region.

Globalworth’s net profit in 2021 significantly improved to €47.5 million (2020: net loss of €46.8 million) while it recorded its best year in office leasing with 214,500 sqm of spaces taken up or extended. The company has released its annual report and audited consolidated financial results for 2021.

Develia has signed a letter of intent on a joint venture with Hillwood Polska regarding the intention to jointly invest on a property located in Malina near Wrocław, involving the construction of a logistics centre with an area of ​​at least 400,000 sqm of GLA. The estimated value of the entire project will exceed PLN 1.5 billion.
