Panattoni builds another huge complex near Warsaw

Panattoni has turned its focus back onto the Warsaw market. In a strategic location – close to the planned New Central Polish Airport – Panattoni Park Błonie III is now under construction. The investment with an area of more than 90,000 sqm has already started and has its first tenant: logistics operator GTFL, which specialises in full truckload and international transportation. The company will consolidate the space it currently occupies in the country at the end of this year, when it will move into its newly leased 7,700 sqm premises. It was represented by consultancy Cresa Polska for this transaction.

Polish hotels count on "revenge demand"

ELI starts construction of second phase of Park Tychy

European Logistics Investment (ELI) has started construction works of the second phase of its warehouse scheme in one of the key logistics regions in Poland – Silesia. Park Tychy II, a 43 000 sqm project is planned as a mixed-use property with BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level. The building is already leased in almost 100% to two tenants – Tiberina Group subsidiary U-Form, a leading supplier of components for the automotive sector in the EMEA region and Nodium Group, the owner of two online platforms – sport-shop.pl and nodik.pl.

New leases

  • Flowserve Hungary Services has leased 2,550 sqm of office space in the Liberty mixed-use building in Budapest. The company will move into this Autumn.
  • DB Logistic has signed a new lease agreement at SEGRO Logistics Park Gliwice. The company has decided to expand occupied space by a third to a total of nearly 5,000 sqm.
  • Low-cost airline flydubai has opened a new office Bucharest-based Eminescu Offices, in a deal brokered by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.

New appointments

  • Prologis' Warsaw team has gained a new director. As of 1st of April, Marzena Tkaczuk has joined the team of development experts. As Capital Deployment Director, she will be responsible in particular for the implementation of build-to-suit projects.
  • Hagag Development Europe has named Ana-Maria Nemțanu as Leasing Director. She has over 17 years’ worth of experience in the local real estate industry.
  • Emilia Dębowska has been promoted to the position of Head of Sustainability Europe of Panattoni. In her new role, she will be responsible for Panattoni’s integrated sustainable development strategy encompassing both the company’s business goals and the development of its projects in Europe for every country in which the developer is active.
