GLP announced that Mastermedia, a leader in Polish food exports, has expanded its lease at GLP Poznań Airport Logistics Centre by an additional 11,840 sqm. As a result, Mastermedia has become the largest tenant at the logistics park, where it will now occupy a total of 28,775 sqm.

Mastermedia distributes food products to a variety of countries including the UK, Germany, Sweden and Australia, delivering goods from Polish and European producers to markets around the world. Mastermedia also owns a franchise network, Food Plus.

Food Plus was founded in 2006, and as of 2023 now employs more than 800 specialists, had an annual turnover of PLN 1 billion in 2022. Mastermedia offers a full range of foods, including meats, dairy, fruit and vegetables, healthy foods, ready meals, additives, juices and beverages, sweets, children’s products, as well as cosmetics and household chemicals.

GLP Poznań Airport Logistics Centre offers more than 81,000 sqm of warehouse and production space in central Greater Poland. It is located near an Expressway S11 intersection and is within 8 minutes of the A2 motorway, making it 20 minutes from central Poznań. The newest building in the park provides an additional 7,000 sqm of warehouse space with a storage height of 12 m. As with all GLP developments, GLP Poznań Airport Logistics Centre is built to the highest ESG standards, with a BREEAM Very Good rating, and incorporates a variety of best-in-class sustainability features.

Krzysztof Piech, Head of Logistics at Mastermedia Cioczek i Wójciak Sp. J., noted: “Expanding our warehouse in Wysogotowo is one of many steps we’re taking as part of Mastermedia’s global growth. Our partnership with GLP enables us to effectively manage the growing volume of logistics operations, ensuring our customers exceptional quality of service on an international scale. With state-of-the-art warehouses and continuous investment, Mastermedia is well-placed to meet the challenges of the global logistics market and reinforces its position as a reliable business partner”.

Paweł Żeromski, Business Development Manager at GLP, stated: “At GLP, we make long-term investments and apply the same approach to our client relations, as perfectly illustrated by our longstanding partnership with Mastermedia. When the company started operations at our park in Wysogotowo seven years ago, the total area available at that location was 12,000 sqm. Since then, the area leased by Mastermedia has more than quadrupled, and our park has expanded nearly sevenfold. We’re thrilled to see a Polish family business spread its wings at GLP Poznań Airport Logistics Centre, from where it will continue to distribute Polish and European products”.
