Panattoni to build industrial project on Poldi Kladno land

RSJ Investment Group has purchased part of the land formerly owned by Poldi Kladno, where Panattoni will build a modern industrial complex with a total area of 88,500 sqm. Demolition and remediation works will start by the end of this year. The new area is expected to create 2,000 new jobs, RSJ reports.

Panattoni completes BTS for Corning Inc. near Warsaw

Panattoni built and is leasing a new, custom-fit facility to Corning Incorporated, a manufacturer of low-loss optical fibre. The facility is located in Mszczonów, a city near Warsaw, and is more than 20,000 sqm. It was customized to meet Corning’s specific manufacturing requirements for low-loss optical fibre production and to meet demand for high-speed connectivity in Europe and surrounding regions.

Panattoni builds hall for 700 workers in Pilsen brownfield

Developer Panattoni is going to build a new large hall for 700 workers of the automotive industry in the Panattoni Park Pilsen West II. The hall will be custom-made for the American company Shape Corporation and the hall should be finished in the first half of 2023, says Colliers who negotiated the deal that was one of the largest in the first half of this year.

Panattoni starts first logistics project in Hungary

Panattoni has started construction of a speculative 17,300 sqm last-mile logistics warehouse project in Törökbálint, about 12 kilometres from Budapest's city centre. The launch of Panattoni Park Budapest City West follows the company’s market debut in Hungary in 2021 with the acquisition of two land sites totalling 100,000 sqm near the capital.

Panattoni to build 32,000 sqm BTO project near Poznań

Panattoni is developing its latest project tailored for a global brand. A leading global logistics company is to operate on 32,000 sqm of the BTO facility, which is being built in Robakowo near Poznań. Construction work started in May, and in late 2022 or early 2023, the client will gain access to the property. Over 20,000 sqm of the space is designated for the automatic sorting of parcels. The project is to be BREEAM certified and will feature, among others, a 900 kWp solar farm and a heat pump.

Panattoni builds another 8,700 sqm for InPost in Łódź

Panattoni has begun constructing 8,700 sqm for InPost within the Central European Logistics Hub in Łódź. In 2021 alone, Panattoni completed logistics centres of nearly 100,000 sqm for InPost within eleven locations. Due to Panattoni’s completed projects both within city limits and on their borders, the end consumer receives quicker service including in small towns.

New leases

  • A new KIKO MILANO store has opened at the Nový Smíchov shopping centre in Prague, as part of a lease transaction brokered by Cushman & Wakefield.
  • Kenneth Cole New York has launched its European debut with a 200 sqm store in Prague’s Westfield Chodov shopping centre.
  • Galeria Askana in Gorzów Wielkopolski has significantly bolstered its retail mix by signing a lease agreement with HalfPrice for a unit exceeding 2,000 sqm. The off-price retailer, part of Grupa Modivo, is scheduled to open its doors at the end of August 2026. The project features a large-format layout with the potential to expand the footprint to nearly 2,700 sqm.

New appointments

  • Romanian office developer Genesis Property has appointed Cătălin Niculiță as Leasing Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has held leadership roles at real estate companies such as Atenor, collaborating with major office tenants in the banking, telecom, and IT sectors.
  • Krzysztof Wróblewski (MRICS) has been named Head of Portfolio Management CEE at Peakside Capital Advisors, responsible for overseeing investments and managing the real estate portfolio. He succeeds Christopher Smith in this role.
  • Garbe Industrial is reorganising its senior leadership team. CEO Christopher Garbe will now focus on strategic orientation and international activities. Jan Philipp Daun assumes leadership of the Development division alongside his existing Investment and Joint Venture responsibilities. Andrea Agrusow expands her remit to include Portfolio Management while retaining control of Commercial and Real Estate Management. Additionally, Michael Marcinek and Maik Zeranski will now jointly head the restructured Development unit as Management Board Members, succeeding Adrian Zellner.
