Romanian construction group Bog’Art has completed the development of its own luxury residential project Art City in northern Bucharest, which is valued at more than €20 million.

The largest rooftop solar power plant in the Czech Republic is to be built on a manufacturing campus in Tachov in the Plzeň Region. The estimated investment is almost €9.17 million, the Urbanity Real Estate Group announced.

JLL has announced that Robert Paulson has been appointed Head of Capital Markets for the Czech Republic. In a move to support the growth and evolution of its Capital Markets business across the region, Rob’s appointment is effective immediately.

Panattoni has leased out almost 80,000 sqm to global logistics operator DSV within the Wrocław Logistics South Hub. This is the first lease for space in the developer’s largest project in the region, which is to eventually comprise 250,000 sqm. Construction work began in the summer of the current year.

Panellists were unanimous at the discussion on investments in SEE countries at CEE Property Forum 2022 in Vienna. They agreed that the lack of investment products is the biggest hurdle in the CRE market in that region while developers and banks should rethink their long-term strategies as economic pressure mounts every day.

Like years ago, the Polish Private Rental Sector is going through a blooming time as each commercial real estate sector segment. It requires a unification of offers, greater standardization of available space, and self-professionalization. One of the first spectacular transactions involving the PRS was in 2016 and the purchase of 72 apartments in the Złota 44 building in Warsaw by the German investment fund Catella Residential Investment Management. At the end of September 2022, this segment is formed by an offer of more than 8,500 apartments for rent spread across Poland's largest cities. The prospects for the development of the market remain very high, and it is mainly favored by market conditions and the structure of the residential sector in Poland.
