Microsoft and Skanska partner up in Poland

Microsoft and Skanska’s office unit in Poland have signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the area of PropTech. It provides for expert knowledge exchange and the use of advanced data analytics solutions, AI mechanisms and cloud computing to create breakthrough innovations for the office real estate sector. The partners will also work together to develop presentations of Skanska's development projects using mixed reality and Microsoft HoloLens glasses and the analytical part of the Connected by Skanska system.

Skanska sells Katowice buildings to Philippine investor

Skanska has sold Buildings C and D of the Silesia Business Park, a four-building office complex in Katowice. The buyer is ISOC Group, a diversified real estate and infrastructure investment group, based in Manila, Philippines. This is Skanska’s first CEE office divestment transaction to a Philippine investor. With the sale of buildings C and D, the developer has now sold all four properties in the Silesia Business Park complex. Buildings A and B were divested in 2015 to a Swedish investor.

German investment funds don’t rule CEE anymore

Currently, they stand at around 15% of the total value invested annually. New entrants from the USA, Asia and South Africa have increased competition for commercial property in the region. Skanska tops out Prague office building

Praga Studios, the new Karlín office building by Skanska, has progressed significantly on its way to completion. In October 2018, the builders placed a topping out flag on the site of the future roof terrace to symbolise the completion of the superstructure. The building, with a total area of almost 12 000 sqm, will be completed in Q2 2019.

C&W to manage 300,000 sqm Skanska portfolio in Poland

Skanska sells Warsaw building to KGAL for €48 million

Skanska starts construction of new Prague office project

Skanska is commencing the construction of its Parkview office building, designed by architectural studio Richard Meier & Partners. The nine-storey building, that will offer nearly 16,000 sqm of office space is scheduled for completion in Q1 2020.

New leases

  • 108 Agency Slovakia has secured a lease of 5,300 sqm for RajHračiek in ANTRACIT Park Senec, a built-to-suit project by HSF. RajHračiek is a fast-growing online store offering a wide selection of toy brands for children.
  • Contract Administration as a result of the renegotiation of the lease agreement, remains in the premises of the West Forum complex in Wrocław. The Lessor, represented by TFG Asset Management, was supported in the process by the consulting agency Corees Polska.
  • Uni-logistics, which specializes in sea, rail and air freight forwarding and road transport, has leased 5,825 sqm of warehouse and office space in Panattoni Park Tricity East VI in Poland. Real estate advisory firm Cresa Poland assisted the tenant during negotiations.

New appointments

  • Paweł Suracki joined Colliers as the Investment Services Director. He will be responsible for managing sales and purchasing processes on behalf of Colliers' clients and for establishing and maintaining relationships with potential and current Colliers' partners in Poland.
  • Avison Young has announced a key change to its directors’ team in Budapest with the arrival of Martina Cifer at the helm of its Office Leasing department. In her new capacity, she shall oversee both the company's Landlord and Tenant Representation divisions.
  • Łukasz Czajkowski joins the team of JLL Poland as Business Services Lead in Tenant Representation Department. He will be responsible for enhancing relations with the BSS sector.
