In line with its development strategy for AccorHotels branded hotels in Eastern Europe, in particular on the very promising Romanian market, Orbis signed 3 new agreements in recent weeks for a total of 370 hotel rooms.

Lithuanian company Apex Alliance, the owner of the Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Bucharest’s old town, will invest €90 million in four new hotels on the Romanian market. The hotels will operate under Marriot International and Hilton World Wide brands.

Radisson Hospitality AB announced the signing of the Radisson Hotel & Suites in. In March 2018, the group announced its plan to rollout Radisson, the upscale hotel brand, across EMEA - and this is the first hotel to open in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE). Orbis has opened a new Ibis Styles hotel in the northern area of Bucharest. The hotel features a restaurant, a conference room, a business lounge and a bar, in addition to 80 guest rooms. The property was rebranded from Hotel Erbas.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with Városház Utca Projekt Ingatlanforgalmazó Kft. for the first Hyatt Regency hotel in Budapest, Hungary. The 231-room property is expected to open in early 2020.

Park Inn by Radisson announced the reopening of the Park Inn by Radisson Danube Bratislava in Slovakia - after an extensive renovation over the last two years. The hotel is located in the heart of the historic centre, near to Bratislava Castle and the Danube River.

Orbis Hotel Group signed a sale and management back agreement with Budapest-based Novoop Ingatlanüzemeltető Kft. for the Novotel Szeged hotel. As part of the transaction, the hotel was handed over to the new owner on the 9th of May, to be continued to operate under the “Novotel” brand by Orbis in the frame of a long-term management agreement for 15 years.
