CTP has started the construction of a new warehousing facility for GEIS Global Logistics at CTPark Prešov South. A new 5 500 sqm facility will help GEIS strengthen its position in the Eastern part of the country, with the premises strategically located in the third-largest city of Slovakia.

P3 is to develop an 82,500 sqm facility with an additional 27,000 sqm expansion option for furniture e-commerce specialist Westwing in P3 Poznań.

In addition to manufacturing capabilities and an R&D centre, HELLA, a global manufacturer of lights and electronic components for cars, is now building a state-of-the-art testing laboratory in the Ostrava region. The lab will be located at CTPark Ostrava Hrabová, where advanced machines will be simulating the real-life operating environment of HELLA products throughout their entire life cycle.

North and North-West Poland has become a new target location for the international investor Accolade. It will direct its investments of over €50 million to two new locations where industrial parks will be built. The cities of Elbląg and Koszalin are conveniently located near the sea and major ports as well as important road routes. The new tenants including DPD and AutoStore have already rented their place in the newly planned parks.

Italian asset and fund manager Generali Real Estate has acquired 7R Park Gdańsk II in Gdańsk-Kowale on behalf of its pan-European Generali Real Estate Logistics Fund (GRELF) from Polish industrial developer 7R for an undisclosed sum.

Panattoni is expanding Panattoni Park Tychy and is to lease out over 38,000 sqm to two tenants. The first is Tiberina Group subsidiary U-Form, a leading supplier of components for the automotive sector in the EMEA region. The company was represented by Cresa Polska. The other is Nodium Group – the owner of two online platforms – sport-shop.pl and nodik.pl. The company is to consolidate its operations by occupying more warehousing space than it already leases.

CTP, the owner and operator of industrial and logistics projects, will invest in a new cargo terminal located in western Romania.  

Hungarian developer Infogroup has completed the latest building in its Eastern Hungarian industrial complex in the Polgári Industrial Park, which it also operates.  The 4,500 sqm industrial/logistics hall is an extension to an existing 27,000 sqm project in the park.

MLP Group has received a Very Good BREEAM International New Construction certificate for its new project at the MLP Pruszków II logistics centre.

Demand for warehouses at 3.15 million sqm and new supply at 1.14 million sqm set new H1 records for the industrial market. Poland registers Europe’s second-highest developer activity with over three million sqm under construction. JLL summarised Poland’s industrial market for H1 2021.
