Panattoni is to increase the size of its portfolio in the Lubusz region. The developer is to begin work on Panattoni Park Gorzów II, which should eventually comprise 67,000 sqm in three buildings. The first is to have 36,500 sqm and is to be completed this year. On completion of the project the company's portfolio should comprise more than 700,000 sqm.

The company has already delivered around 400,000 sqm in the region. These developments include its own parks in Zielona Góra and Gorzów as well as large-scale bespoke buildings including the BTS in Świebodzin with 200,000 sqm, which was the largest building constructed in Poland last year. Now the developer is launching its next project – Panattoni Park Gorzów II. The company is to deliver 67,000 sqm in three buildings, the first of which is to be completed by the end of this year and it is to have an area of 36,500 sqm. The centre will be less than an hour by road from the German border.

“The Lubusz region is one of the places that has benefited the most from the lightning-speed development of industrial space market in Poland. Being located near the western border means that it can serve clients from Germany as well as further afield on the continent, thus making it a hub for international activity. The potential is shown by the numbers with demand reaching 400,000 sqm in 2021. This is comparable to Kujawy and the TriCity, which are two other rapidly developing regions only beaten by the so called Big Five”, says Dorota Jagodzińska-Sasson, Managing Director, Panattoni.

Panattoni Park Gorzów II is being built around 8 km from the centre of the city not far from the S3, which runs along the western border to join Legnica with Szczecin. This arterial road is part of the E65 European route, which runs from the north to the south of Europe.  Panattoni’s new complex will be suitable for warehousing, logistics and e-commerce while the buildings may be altered to meet individual requirements for production. The development is also to meet the high standards of sustainable development and is to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of ‘Excellent’.
