The European logistics markets are currently unstoppable and are reaching record levels. Supported by the flourishing online trade and a surge in demand due to last-mile requirements, the growth prospects continue to be very positive, both from an investment and user perspective, according to Catella’s Logistics Market Map Europe 2021.

The construction works on Panattoni Park Bolesławiec, which is the developer's 22nd park in Lower Silesia, are to start this month.

ITM Baza Poznańska, a Musketeers Group company that specializes in warehousing of products sold through the Group’s Intermarché and Bricomarché stores, has leased 13,000 sqm of warehouse space in Panattoni Park Sosnowiec I. The tenant was represented during lease negotiations by Cresa Poland.

The European distributor and importer of spare parts for passenger cars will join as a tenant at MLP Poznań West, leasing a facility with an increased height of 11.5 metres. The facility, planned to be delivered in the third quarter of 2022, will meet the requirements for BREEAM certification.

The Industrial Agency of Colliers Czech Republic received an exclusive mandate from Prologis to find a suitable tenant for the industrial premises in Rudná near Prague. There are currently only eight vacant industrial spaces available ready for immediate occupancy within the area of Greater Prague.

According to Savills, the European logistics market is on track for another record year, as investment volumes and take-up activity are already in excess of five-year averages at the half-year point. Take up in Poland in H1 2021 exceeded 3,000,000 sqm the first time in history and was higher than France, UK and Spain.

German bicycle manufacturer CUBE is expanding its operations by launching its first production facility at CTPark Cheb in the Czech Republic, in a new building with 10,000 sqm of space. The new assembly line for bicycles is planned to start in February 2022.

Panattoni is completing a logistics centre for non-food discount chain Action in Bieruń with an area of ​​60,800 sqm, of which more than 58,000 sqm will be warehousing space. The BTS facility, which should be ready in September this year, will improve the company’s logistics processes for southern and central Poland, as well as across Europe. The investment is to be BREEAM certified at the ‘Excellent ‘level.
