Panattoni is developing another complex in the Kraków region – Panattoni Park Kraków North, with an area of 55,000 sqm. The first tenant has already been secured for the park: Trivium Packaging – a global manufacturer of metal packaging, which will transfer its existing chemical packaging operations to its new 21,000 sqm premises at the beginning of 2023. Panattoni has now developed approaching 200,000 sqm of industrial space in the Kraków region.

Panattoni has been expanding its portfolio step-by-step in the Kraków region. Following the completion of Panattoni Park Kraków East II, which has an area of 20,000 sqm, this time the developer has started construction to the north of Poland’s former capital, close to the S7 expressway, which is also nearing completion. Panattoni Park Kraków North will comprise 55,000 sqm in two buildings. More than 20,000 sqm will be occupied by Trivium Packaging, which will use it as modern warehouse, production and office space. The company will be relocating its existing chemical packaging operations to the park, where it will launch its activities in early 2023.

“The Kraków market, although much smaller than Poland’s largest markets, nevertheless has significant international potential, as we can see with this project for Trivium Packaging. After all, what better evidence could there be for the quality of a given location than it being chosen as centre of international activity by a global company with vast experience and knowledge of different markets. Panattoni has so far delivered approx. 160,000 sqm in the region, and the demand continues to grow – so we are very confident about the future of this market,” explains Filip Noworól, Senior Leasing Manager at Panattoni, who adds: “The interest in the new complex also confirms how important the construction of the S7 expressway is for the development of the region, especially its northern part.”

The attractive location of Panattoni Park Kraków North was one of the key factors in Trivium Packaging’s selection of it. The complex is being built near European route E77. In addition to this, there are two international airports within a 100 km radius – Kraków-Balice and Katowice International Airport in Pyrzowice. The key factor for the company’s Polish operations is the proximity of the S7 expressway, which will eventually run from Gdańsk to virtually the southern border, as well as national road No. 44, which connects Kraków to Silesia, among others parts of Poland.

Panattoni Park Kraków North will eventually offer 55,000 sqm in two buildings and is to be BREEAM certified at the ‘Excellent’ level, as it will feature a range of energy efficiency and well-being solutions. Its modern facilities will be ideal for a wide range of industries and sectors, including logistics, automotive and FMCG. The space is designed to allow it to be adapted for storage, production or food logistics processes.
