Panattoni builds in Zgorzelec for ID Logistics

Panattoni has launched the construction of Panattoni Park Zgorzelec, which will comprise ​​approx. 70,000 sqm. This is the developer’s latest 3 PL investment near the Polish-German border. The first tenant has already been secured for the park – ID Logistics, which will occupy 44,500 sqm for its e-commerce operations. Panattoni has also announced that the project will be BREEAM certified at the ‘Excellent’ level.

CTP to invest €60 million in fourth logistics park in Budapest

CTP is starting the construction of 80,000 sqm in Vecsés, a strategic location near Budapest Airport. With the market-leading 250,000 sqm under development in Hungary and high demand of the logistics and industrial space due to its large undersupply in the entire CEE region, CTP will reach the target of a 1 million sqm portfolio in the country already by the end of 2022, a year ahead of the originally projected forecast. Panattoni to build 172,000 sqm in Western Pomerania

Czech industrial vacancy falls to historical low

Modern industrial stock in the Czech Republic grew by 314,800 sqm in H2 2020, indicating a mild (7%) decline in construction activity compared to H1. The total industrial inventory intended for lease according to the latest Savills report totalled 9.11 million sqm and 62% of the total inventory was held within the three largest submarkets of Prague (3.21 million sqm), the Pilsen region (1.33 million sqm) and the South Moravia region  (1.15 million sqm).

New leases

  • Promenada Mall, owned by Nepi Rockcastle, has completed the first stage of its food court modernisation, spanning 1,000 sqm, with the opening of eight new restaurants.
  • ELI Parks has signed a lease agreement with Litera Group for a 3,087 sqm space within ELI Park 3, near Bucharest.
  • International luxury brand Rituals is joining the IULIUS retail network. This autumn, it will open new stores in the mixed-use developments Iulius Town Timișoara and Palas Iași, as well as in Iulius Mall Cluj.

New appointments

  • From mid-October, László Csapó will take up the position of Director of Business Development at Danubius Hotels Zrt. He succeeds Andrea Róna, who had held the position since 2022.
  • Cushman & Wakefield Echinox has named Gabriel Vințe as Business Development Manager within the Project & Development Services (PDS) department. He will also oversee the business line dedicated to sustainability services. Vințe has over 21 years of experience gained in renowned companies across sectors such as financial services, retail, residential, and consultancy.
  • Cushman & Wakefield has strengthened its Warsaw-based Capital Markets team, led by Paweł Partyka, with the appointments of Jakub Grabara and Natalia Wołyniec. The new hires will support the company in delivering transactional advisory services across the commercial property market.
