Panattoni is developing 65,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate and on completion will have delivered over a million sqm in the region. The developer is building a distribution centre with over 100 loading docks. The entire project is to be BREEAM certified with a rating of 'Excellent'. The complex will be completed in March 2022

Panattoni is starting the development of Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate in Tarnowo Podgórne near Poznań with a target area of 65,000 sqm. Construction work is starting in the summer this year and its completion is scheduled for March 2022.

“In Poznań and its surroundings, we have been active since the foundation of the Polish branch of the firm and this year we are planning to reach over a million sqm handed over. We have built up a wide portfolio with the trust of our many clients from different industries. Just over the last year, we have started work on two important developments for the e-commerce sector – over 105,000 sqm for DHL Supply Chain to service Zalando and 23,500 sqm for Ekol Poland, which operates on behalf of outdoor clothing producer Regata. Moreover, we have signed up another grocery client for our portfolio – OneDayMore. Work in Poznań is at full speed and there’s no time for a break,” says Marek Dobrzycki, the Managing Director of Panattoni.

Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate is being built in the village of Tarnowo Podgórne, an attractive location on National Road 92, just 7 km from the Poznań Zachód junction, where it joins the S11 expressway. This road runs on to Koszalin in the north and Bydgoszcz and Katowice in the south and it also allows access to the A2 motorway, which is about a 15-minute drive away and joins the park to Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań and Berlin.

“When selecting this location, tenants will not only get convenient transport links but excellent business conditions being in the industrial zone of Tarnowo Podgórne near such businesses as Lidl, Mondelez, and Imperial Tabaco. Just in the district, there are over 5,000 registered businesses, which demonstrates how well the local authorities have worked to develop the region,” adds Katarzyna Kujawiak, the Development Director at Panattoni.

Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate is to be built according to the highest standards of sustainable development and is to be one of the first buildings in the region to be BREEAM certified for a rating of ‘Excellent’. The centre is to be powered from renewable energy sources and represents another step to be taken by Panattoni to reach its ambitious goal of neutral emissions by 2025. The buildings will be equipped with systems to limit the usage of water, heat and energy, as well as an array of solutions to ensure the wellbeing of its users, from appropriate sound dampening and lighting for the office section, to green areas, relaxation areas, and electric vehicle charging stations.

Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate will comprise 65,000 sqm with 126 loading docks as well as almost 220 parking places, including 13 for trucks. Tenants will also have a large manoeuvring area at their disposal.
