JLL announced that Ben Rose has been appointed Head of Capital Markets for the Czech Republic. Ben takes over the role from Mike Atwell, who – after four years of heading up the Czech Republic and CEE capital markets team – returned to London to take up a senior position in the EMEA Industrial & Logistics investment team.

CTP, the largest developer and owner of industrial projects in Romania, will expand its CTPark Bucharest North project by 95,000 sqm.  

Local developer Haberl Real Estate announced a new residential project, Green Atrium in Bratislava’s Ružinov district. The project consists of 3 blocks and an inner block. It will provide 83 residential units, underground parking and up to 1,500 sqm of greenery located in the courtyard and on the roofs of buildings. Start of construction is expected to take place in Q3 2022, while completion is scheduled for 2025.

Property developer Speedwell has signed a new financing agreement with Banca Transilvania and received an €8 million loan for Phase 2 that is currently under construction and the future Phase 3 of the Triama Residence project in Bucharest. 

Belgian group Atenor has appointed Colliers to offer complete property management services for the Dacia One and @Expo office projects in Bucharest. 

Romanian Akcent Development will invest around €75 million in Akcent City, a new residential project with 810 apartments located in the Bucureștii Noi area of northern Bucharest. 

Romanian Prima Development Group will invest around €40 million in Green Residence, a new residential project in Oradea comprising over 800 apartments. 

Futureal Investment Partners has acquired the Galeria Bemowo shopping centre in Warsaw, Poland. The value of the transaction remains undisclosed. 

Savills Investment Management announced the acquisition of 7R Park Beskid II, a multi-let logistics asset in Poland, on behalf of Vestas Investment Management (‘Vestas’) from Polish developer 7R and VRE. The transaction will complete in three phases, with the final phase in March 2022. The overall transaction volume will be in excess of €101 million.

Ghelamco’s latest skyscraper at Warsaw UNIT has received a BREEAM certificate at the Outstanding level, the highest possible rating. This is the first certificate at this level for a high-rise building in Poland and the second one in Warsaw. The certificate was awarded based on the BREEAM International New Construction 2013 system.
