French group Accor will open a new Mercure hotel in Alba Iulia in the second quarter of 2024. The new Mercure Alba Iulia Cetate hotel will feature 112 rooms and apartments and facilities such as a restaurant, SPA and conference room. 


The hotel will be operated under a franchise agreement with Dentotal group. The two companies already have a partnership for Mercure Bucharest City Center and ibis Styles Bucharest City Center. 

"Alba Iulia is an amazing city with an impressive history, coupled with a contemporary and vibrant lifestyle. We are delighted to be part of the city's development and to contribute to its tourism offer with a new world-class hotel,” said Dentotal’s representative Bogdan Dogariu. 

Accor’s global network includes over 5,300 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and bars in 110 countries. The group has 230,000 employees worldwide.
