Panattoni will begin construction of a new park in the Silesian Voivodeship in December – Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V. The project will ultimately include two buildings with a total area of over 52,000 sqm. The first tenant is Hebe, for whom a build-to-suit distribution centre will be developed as part of the facility. 

After nine months of this year, the Echo Investment Group has strengthened its position in key sectors of the Polish real estate market. It has also entered the private student housing segment, starting the construction of two projects. The total value of the Group's assets at the end of September amounted to PLN 6.6 billion (ca. €1.5 billion), while cash reserves exceeded PLN 469 million (ca. €107.5 million). In November, Echo signed a conditional sale agreement for the React office building in Łódź.

CA Immo recorded a 4% increase in rental income to €179.1 million in the first nine months of 2024 versus 2023 despite the sale of non-strategic properties, while it posted a net loss of €33.4 million compared with a profit of €61.1 million in the same period of last year.

Real estate financing has been facing various challenges including the need for more bank and debt fund participation, better understanding and collaboration between Eastern and Western Europe, and last but not least exploring opportunities in new real estate sectors, such as data centres, and developing financing solutions for these emerging asset classes. Outlooks and solutions have been discussed at the financing panel of CEE Property Forum 2024 in Vienna.

In addition to the new acquisition in Brno, YIT is also intensively focusing on Kladno, where it is starting its first-ever regional construction by the end of this year. 

With a total loan amount of €168 million Helaba and Erste Group are financing the acquisition of the prime office tower Warsaw UNIT for the Swedish real estate company Eastnine AB. The loan term is for five years and Helaba is acting as co-arranger and agent for the transaction.

Panattoni and E.G.O., one of the suppliers of components for domestic appliance manufacturers, are starting the construction of a new production facility in Łódź. The investment is valued at over PLN 100 million (ca. €23 million).

Echo Investment has signed a conditional sale agreement for React, the office building located at 24 Piłsudskiego in Łódź. Upon completion of the deal, React will be acquired by Summus Capital, an Estonian-based investment company. The transaction is valued at €32.5 million.

Romanian developer Forty Management plans to raise up to €5 million from a bond sale in a bid to finance its international projects.
