AFI Loft, AFI Romania's newest Class A office project in Bucharest, has achieved LEED Platinum certification.

The certification process was managed by Colliers Romania through its Green & Healthy Building Certifications division.

The office building, which is built on top of AFI Cotroceni, offers 16,000 sqm of office space across two floors. It features atriums, lounge areas, and co-working elements. The building's common areas are designed with skylights and open staircases to maximise natural light and reduce electricity use. It also incorporates a range of modern technical specifications, including LED lighting, a four-pipe HVAC system, and a fully glazed façade to ensure energy efficiency and tenant comfort.

The building provides extensive public transport connections, including metro, tram, and bus, and features green mobility solutions such as EV charging stations and bicycle racks.

Emma Toma, Head of Office Division at AFI Romania, said the project is setting a new benchmark in the Romanian office market through its location-driven advantages and service integration.

AFI Loft was the only new office project delivered in Bucharest last year.

AFI Romania’s commercial and residential portfolio is covered by LEED, BREEAM, WELL Health & Safety, and Green Homes certifications.
