Property Forum is pleased to announce that Courtney Fingar has joined as Strategic Advisor – FDI, supporting the platform’s expansion into foreign direct investment and strengthening connections between international investors, companies, locations and the real estate industry.
Courtney is a globally recognised specialist in foreign direct investment, with extensive experience spanning investment promotion, economic development and cross-border investment. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with investment promotion agencies, governments, economic development organisations and international businesses across multiple markets.
In her new advisory role, Courtney will work with the Property Forum team to develop its FDI proposition and build stronger links between the real estate and foreign direct investment communities.
The collaboration will focus on bringing together capital, companies, cities and regions, combining Property Forum’s established real estate network, media platform and events with Courtney’s expertise in investment promotion and international business location.
Csanád Csürös, CEO of Property Forum, said: “Foreign direct investment and real estate are increasingly interconnected. Decisions about where companies invest, expand and establish operations have a direct impact on cities, infrastructure, logistics, offices, industrial development and the wider property market. Courtney brings exceptional international expertise and relationships in this field. Her involvement will help us broaden Property Forum’s reach beyond traditional real estate investment and create new connections between investors, occupiers, governments, investment promotion agencies and the property industry.”
The appointment forms part of Property Forum’s wider strategy to expand its international investment offering across Europe and beyond.
Property Forum has built a strong network of senior real estate professionals through its conferences, media platform and investment-focused initiatives across Central and Eastern Europe and major European investment centres. The addition of dedicated FDI expertise will enable the company to develop new formats connecting investment destinations with international capital and corporate decision-makers.
Courtney Fingar, Strategic Advisor – FDI at Property Forum, said: “Real estate and foreign direct investment have traditionally been discussed in somewhat separate circles, despite being fundamentally connected. Every major corporate investment decision ultimately has a location, infrastructure and property dimension. I am excited to work with Property Forum to bring these communities closer together and create meaningful opportunities for dialogue between companies, investors, investment promotion agencies, cities, regions and real estate leaders.”
The collaboration will initially focus on integrating FDI perspectives into Property Forum’s existing international activities while developing dedicated content, events and investment-focused initiatives.
Key areas will include corporate investment and location strategy, investment promotion, infrastructure and industrial development, economic development, cross-border investment, and the role of cities and regions in attracting international capital.
The initiative will also create new opportunities for investment promotion agencies and destinations to engage directly with Property Forum’s network of investors, developers, occupiers, advisers and other senior decision-makers.
