MLP Group has received a Very Good BREEAM International New Construction certificate for its new project at the MLP Pruszków II logistics centre.

Demand for warehouses at 3.15 million sqm and new supply at 1.14 million sqm set new H1 records for the industrial market. Poland registers Europe’s second-highest developer activity with over three million sqm under construction. JLL summarised Poland’s industrial market for H1 2021.

In H1 2021 Dino Polska, a grocery store network continued its geographic expansion. Its store count climbed by 150 in this period to 1,622. That means that save for Sundays a new Dino store was opened in Poland every single day. At the same time, Dino Polska created 2.4 thousand new jobs and at the end of June it had more than 28.2 thousand employees.

Panattoni has started the development of Panattoni Park Rzeszów Airport II, including an 11,300 sqm BTS project, which is being constructed for US firm BorgWarner. This US-stock exchange listed company produces vehicle powertrains and exhaust system subassemblies. The tenant is to start setting up its assembly lines before the end of the year, with the entire building to be handed over in February 2022.

The office market is now at the epicentre of changes caused by the transition to the remote work model due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis of the findings of a survey of tenants of the office buildings in the portfolio of properties under the management of Cushman & Wakefield Poland reveals how companies are preparing for this change.

In the first half of 2021, Accolade has achieved a lease of 370,000 sqm of modern and sustainable space to tenants in the e-commerce, logistics, and light industry sectors. Not surpirngly, the easing of the COVID-19 pandemic has driven up interest in the acquisition of holiday homes.
