Romania's commercial real estate market recorded a total transaction volume of €386 million in H1 2025, down 7.4% compared to the same period last year, according to iO Partners.

In the first half of 2025, Warsaw saw the delivery of 85,200 sqm of new office space — a 34% increase compared to the same period last year. However, the volume of space under construction has dropped to a historic low of 140,000 sqm. George Gardin, Country Manager for Romania at Yellow Tree Group, spoke with Property Forum about the group's first pilot development in Romania, Aria Shopping Center, and the investment vision for the local market going forward, with a focus on diversification into hospitality and in-city logistics. 

Savills has been appointed to manage a selection of major properties owned by Yareal Polska. The portfolio includes buildings C, D, and E within the Lixa office campus, the Wspólna 47/49 office building, and the retail component of the mixed-use complex Soho by Yareal, totalling more than 67,000 sqm of space.
