P3 Logistic Parks has started construction of the final warehouse - comprising 77,630 sqm - at its Poznań park, located in a convenient location between Berlin in Germany, and Warsaw in Poland. Almost a third of the new space, 25,507 sqm, has already been leased to the logistics company Kurier, owned by VAN group.

Panattoni is extending Panattoni Park Wrocław West Gate. The building now under construction is to be occupied by international logistics operator Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska sp. z o.o. sp.k., which is to take up 16,200 sqm within the next few months. After the expansion, the park will have an area of around 46,900 sqm and Panattoni will come close to having developed 2 mln sqm in the Wrocław region.

Cushman & Wakefield has released a report summarizing the first quarter of 2022 on the Polish industrial market. According to its data, total warehouse take-up in the first three months of this year reached 1.56 million sqm while the development pipeline hit a record 4.8 million sqm.

The pan-European developer, which entered the Hungarian market a relatively short time ago, sees a lot of opportunities in the countryside to build logistics centres for different end-users. LOCONI Intermodal S.A. has leased almost 2,000 sqm of office and warehouse space and nearly 80,000 sqm of space for transport on the premises of the railway cargo terminal within an OKAM project located at Jagiellońska Street, in the Warsaw district of Żerań. pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has provided a €118 million credit facility to REICO ČS NEMOVITOSTNÍ, the biggest open-ended real estate fund on the Czech market, managed by REICO, an investment company of Česká spořitelna. The facility will be used to fund the acquisition of two newly built logistic properties in Upper Silesia as well as for the refinancing of an office building in Warsaw.

GLP, a leading investor and developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, has signed a long-term lease agreement with online retailer Alza.hu for a 22,000 sqm warehouse at Sziget Logistics Centre, Hungary. Construction is already in progress, and the building is due to be finalized in Q3 2022.

A new logistics park will be built in Ziar nad Hronom in central Slovakia by autumn 2023. The developer Contera will construct it here for € 22 million. The first big tenant is already assured too, it will be the electronics wholesaler Fast Plus, writes logistikadnes.sk. 

Panattoni is planning to deliver a complex of almost 70,000 sqm just 10 km from the centre of the city. A leading provider of modern logistics services in Poland is its first tenant, leasing around 9,000 sqm.
