VGP announces the acquisition of a new land plot in a prime location near Bucharest and the start of the development of its new multi-tenant business park VGP Park Bucharest. Law firm Kinstellar advised VGP Parks on the acquisition.

The first tenant in the building with a potential area of up to 45,700 sqm is DHL. The global logistics operator will thus expand its activities in Accolade’s parks by another 20,500 sqm. The first part of the building will be handed over in June. The new €31 million project will not just meet all standards for BREEAM Very Good certificate.  

Lidl Serbia plans to start the construction of a new, 60,000 sqm logistics canter in Lapovo, a city located approximately halfway between Belgrade and Nis on the A1 highway, in the coming months, local media reports.

Logistics developer and investor VGP announced a record net profit of €370.9 million for 2020 which is an 80.4% y-o-y increase. The company announced its financial results for 2020.

Last year, the industrial real estate sector in Poland claimed a record-breaking share (almost 50 percent) in the total volume of transactions. Two of the most popular locations among the sector’s developers and tenants are still Silesia and its sub-region of Zagłębie. Accolade published its results for 2020. Last year saw the expansion of the portfolio area by 30%, almost 400 new qualified investors and a year-on-year return of 10,02%.
