CBRE Investment Management (CBRE IM) has appointed Bert Hesselink as EMEA Customer Relationship Management Logistics Lead. In the role, he will strengthen relationships with occupiers across CBRE IM's logistics portfolio, helping businesses identify real estate solutions that support their operational and growth requirements. He will work closely with local asset management, leasing and operating teams, acting as a strategic partner to occupiers across the logistics, retail and office sectors.
Hesselink joins from CTP, where he held senior client relationship responsibilities and worked with occupiers across Europe on supply chain, manufacturing and distribution requirements. He brings more than two decades of international real estate experience in building occupier partnerships.
The appointment reflects CBRE IM's focus on its investor-operator model, combining sector expertise, local market presence and global scale. The firm manages more than €17 billion in logistics assets under management across Europe, comprising approximately 8.4 million sqm of logistics space and serving over 1,700 occupiers.
"Our scale gives us reach, but our sector specialisation and operating model are what make the difference. We operate one of Europe's largest logistics platforms, serving more than 1,700 occupiers across multiple countries, and we know that understanding customer needs is fundamental to delivering long term value," said Laurie Lagarde, Head of EMEA Logistics Operator Division at CBRE Investment Management. Lagarde added that Hesselink's experience would help deepen occupier relationships and ensure insights continue to inform investment decisions and asset management strategies.
"Occupiers increasingly need partners who understand not only their real estate needs, but also the wider trends shaping their businesses and supply chains. I am excited to join the team and help strengthen those relationships while supporting customers across a diverse range of markets and sectors," said Hesselink.
