Cushman & Wakefield Echinox has promoted Claudia Scarlat to Deputy Head of Valuation and expanded the responsibilities of Bogdan Sergentu, who becomes Head of Valuation, Data & AI Strategy. The appointments strengthen the management structure of the Valuation department and support a new strategic direction focused on data and artificial intelligence across the company.

The Valuation team valued properties with a total leasable area of approximately 7.8 million sqm and a cumulative value exceeding €7.7 billion in 2025. By number of assignments, 50% of valuations were carried out for bank financing purposes, followed by financial reporting at 25% and taxation at 15%.

Scarlat takes on her new role after nearly 20 years with the company. As Deputy Head of Valuation, she will gradually assume some of the department's management responsibilities while continuing to work alongside Sergentu and the wider team. "This new responsibility represents a natural continuation of the professional journey I have built alongside the Valuation team. We have grown together, navigated different market cycles and built strong relationships with our clients," said Claudia Scarlat, Deputy Head of Valuation at Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.

Sergentu, one of the firm's longest-standing partners, will oversee the company's strategy on data and the integration of artificial intelligence, covering both the use of information available across the organisation and the incorporation of these technologies into day-to-day operations. He will remain involved in the Valuation practice, particularly on complex projects and relationships with key clients. "Data & AI is a strategic priority for us, not merely a technological one. Our objective is to use data and new tools more intelligently to support our teams and generate more relevant insights for our clients, while keeping professional expertise at the core of the decision-making process," said Bogdan Sergentu, Head of Valuation, Data & AI Strategy at Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.

Cushman & Wakefield Echinox is the exclusive affiliate of Cushman & Wakefield in Romania, independently owned and operated, with a team of more than 80 professionals providing real estate consultancy services to investors, developers, owners and occupiers.
